Twoย suspected ex-Tongan Crip Gang members were arrested during a series of raids in the South-Central and Davis area in the city of Los Santos, authorities said this morning.

ย

The raids were carried out early Monday morning and targeted specifically the well known Tongan Crip gang members as part of an ongoing investigation into the mass-murder scene that happened on November 28th. During the shot out at November 28th, four Varrio Rancho 13 gang members were found shot to death at the Groove Circle area in Davis.

ย

The gang is also believed to be responsible for at least five other violent assaults in the area of the Rancho, police said.

Several additional suspects are outstanding. However, โ€œwe expect to have them in custody in the coming days, and do not believe there is an immediate threat to the community,'' the LSPD said in a statement.

Investigators seized weapons, ammunition, electronic media and gang paraphernalia from approximately 9 locations raided, the LSPD said.

ย

โ€œOver the past year, tagging and other evidence of TCGโ€™s presence has been observed at multiple locations throughout the Davis,'' the statement said. โ€œOfficials believe the gang is attempting to establish a foothold by directly challenging rival gangs in the area.''

ย

โ€œThis... operation not only assisted investigators in the furtherance of their investigation, but alsoย sent a message to TCGโ€™s that their criminal presence will not be tolerated in the South Central Areaย or anywhere within the City of Los Santos,'' the LSPD said.

ย

LSPD states that โ€œthe seized weapons and drugs during the police raid operation shows that the gang now operates better than ten years agoโ€. Theseย changes have become apparent in recent monthsย as theย community in general has seen an economic boom, not to mentionย a reported wave of crime and murdersย documented by the Los Santos Police Department in the past few years.

ย

Secret Police sources have revealed that the latest criminal activities and conspiracyย in regard to this surge of crime and the execution of the old gang leadershipย is nothing less as a coup in the gang itself. A coup that was spearheaded by a rumoredย ex-TCG gang memberย Kapo Nakao.

ย

It is unknown exactly what Nakao's ties are to the TCG gang movement today, and other criminal groups, however alternative sources pinpoint him as the sole assailant in spearheading the movement that lead to the deaths of very specific figures on the South Central & Davis scene.

Since then, Los Santos Police Department states that changes have been made in regard to the operations around South Central, suggesting that new players are at the helm. More can only be revealed as time goes on.
