shiroq
If you are serious about portraying a Japanese character you are better off on your own. Unfortunately Japanese characters are nine times out of ten portrayed very poorly and they seem more like anime characters than anything else. If you are trying to portray a Japanese-American, Little Seoul is probably the best area to start your journey in. I would suggest to stray away from the "JDM" car culture of driving Futo's and Elegy's because that is ruined by poor portrayal. Do plenty of research about their culture and behaviour before you start your journey because they are extremely different from regular Americans yet with a very deep and interesting culture which has thousands upon thousands of articles and other sources information to draw inspiration from. 3 1 Link to comment
Sqreix
Sounds good. I'll be doing my own extensive research about them, specifically on how they operate as a crime syndicate. Would be glad to start something new up if given the chance. Link to comment
Cheezy
Would love to see more of a Japanese presence in-game. Not ricers, I am talking the straight culture from either legal or illegal sides. 1 Link to comment
pendeja
The edgy Japanese lesbians scared them off. Link to comment

Because establishing a story with some great narration isn't wrong. Not every character has to be off the boat and stumble across and awkwardly befriend the faction you want to join. 🙂 Link to comment

Though, it's worth asking of course. Link to comment

That's usually in regards to working your way up the faction, most ethnic factions rely on their faction threads and OOC for recruitment because their race is very niche or unheard of to the community. Some factions don't have it as simple as La Eme, Black or The White Car factions, which can stumble upon any Hispanic, Black or White man and actually recruit them. Asian, Eurasian, and Pacific Islander factions have a difficult time recruiting members in that regard, because a majority of characters made usually fall under the three main categories. Ah thats fair, I know a majority of factions run by this rule however. Though, back on topic. A lot of Japanese characters as mentioned are legal in the likes of PD, FD etc. Illegal Japanese atm is very niche. The most you might see is the occasional Civilian Japanese player. But, theres definately a lot of Chinese and Korean roleplayers. Link to comment
