-1 I understand the reasoning but now that you can import Menyoo xml’s you can easily pick up an old character again. That is if you exported the xml before you deleted the character and if their name hasn’t been taken yet by someone else.

You can do this already. It's called a Name Change. Just hope noone takes the original name

The problem here is that some people don't have the money to NC, and allowing the players to temporarily delete a character, and start a new one will be a better choice.

That would just be a namechange with extra steps which is not beneficial for anyone, not to mention it'd be unfair to implement this when people are/have already bought and used namechanges to keep/return their characters.
