HappyGecko
Detailed Description: Whenever someone gets shot, or is bleeding from any other source, they should not be allowed to use the /changechar command for around 10 minutes. This is heavily abused. People get into shootouts, run away, /changechar to spawn at one of their properties and to clear any /damages they had. Just yesterday, this was abused 3 times by people who shot at Police, only to then magically teleport across the map with no damages they received from said shooting. Adding a timer will prevent this. 10 minutes gives people enough time to track down the bleeding and shot suspect/person, making it fair for everyone involved. It should not be hard to add such a thing and will greatly improve the quality of the server. For anyone saying ''but what if it was a missclick?'' I highly doubt people will shoot you by ''accident''. If that were the case /report is always an option. Relevant Commands/Items: Add a timer to /changechar when shot/bleeding within the last 10 minutes. Same as the 2 minute timer to /acceptdeath to die How will it benefit the server? Will heavily improve RP quality, stop abuse by people magically teleporting around the map to stash items or clear their /damages after a shooting. Makes it fair for everyone involved in the scene so nobody wastes their time with looking for a person who is long gone by abuse a command! 8 Link to comment
pateuvasiliu
Absolutely. People are abusing /changechar a lot. Link to comment
F34
+1, this is needed to stop people abusing it for the reasons already mentioned. Link to comment
atomstodin
I'd like to support. It doesn't only support LEO RPers but also illegal RPers. Link to comment
Helm
I feel like this is a no-brainer, and don't see why a safeguard against abusing /changechar wasn't already put in when the bleeding mechanic was introduced. +1 Link to comment
Jacooob
This would be great, probably easier to manage than policing abusers. +1 Link to comment
Neszy
I don't see a downside as long as it doesn't restrict /changechar for all damage types; gunshots-only would be ideal, definitely shouldn't restrict /changechar for something like fall damage. Link to comment
Akio
Eliminates quite a few issues such as avoiding RP when injured or potentially spawning somewhere else. +1. Link to comment
