    Report

Police Officer II Jalen Bouknight (#148402), under the callsign 2L32 on the 21/APR/2024, 00:27. Conducted an arrest on Shane Myers, the apprehension took place on Imagination Court, Vespucci Canals.

    Arrest Narrative:
Police Officer II Jalen Bouknight, on April 20th, at around 23:08, observed a black Sedan traveling through Little Seoul at a high rate of speed. Officer Bouknight then immediately initiated a pursuit on the aforementioned black Sedan, calling it in over the radio. After several seconds of chasing, several other officers joined in onto the pursuit, then chasing the individual throughout the area of Little Seoul. Reckless driving by the black Sedan was present, with him grazing and/or striking other vehicles on the road, as well as colliding with walls. Eventually, the pursuit was called off as the black Sedan had escaped the sight of the Los Santos Police Department officers that were giving chase. A crime broadcast was requested to be put up, and the description of the individual driving the black Sedan was as follows: A male with dreads and a black shirt.

Almost immediately after the termination of the pursuit, a man was found running through the Vespucci canals, completely matching the description of the individual who was driving the black Sedan. The man, who would later be identified as Albert Warren, was held at gunpoint until their identity was verified via dashcam footage. The dashcam footage captured corroborates the claim that Albert Warren was the individual driving the black Sedan during the almost ten minute pursuit.

Later on during the investigation, it was found that the black Sedan that Albert Warren was driving did not belong to him.

    Report

Deputy Sheriff (Bonus II) Santiago Cortés (#114890), under the callsign 240K91 on the 19/APR/2024, 01:57. Conducted an arrest on Brian Mau, the apprehension took place on Aguja Street, Vespucci Beach.

    Arrest Narrative:
I, Deputy Santiago Cortés (#114890), was patrolling under callsign 240K91 when I witnessed a Scheisser with its lights off and tints too dark that made me unable to identify the driver, for which I initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle yielded on Power Street, the plates being 'ZGO176', coming back registered to one JEREMIAH ROWE. I made contact with the driver, who I identified to be one CALEB PHORN through his license, which did not match the registered owner.

I proceeded to ask PHORN some questions about the vehicle, which he claimed to belong to a friend, that then he said not to be a friend but just someone he was buying the car from, ultimately unable to identify the owner. I confirmed, along with backup deputy Pareja, that there was tape around the ignition area of the vehicle. I ordered PHORN out of the vehicle, given the evidence pointing towards the vehicle being stolen. PHORN complied, but when he noticed I took out my handcuffs, he ran back into the vehicle and drove away, sparking a vehicle pursuit that came to an end on Aguja Street, where the suspect hopped out on foot, running into the 4520 Aguja Street apartment complex.

We ran after the suspect into the lobby of the complex but lost visual, not knowing which apartment he went into, I utilized my tracking canine, Sergeant K9 Anubis, to track using the scent from the vehicle he had evaded in, leading us to the door of Apartment 9, where the canine sat down, scratching with his paw at it, a clear and unequivocal canine alert.

I banged my first against the door repeatedly, which was opened by a different individual, approximately 2 minutes after I knocked. He was asked where Caleb was, to which he answered "I don't know, this is my house", misleading us and covering for the evading suspect. The individual was detained and put in handcuffs, identified through his ID to be one BRIAN MAU, the owner of the apartment.

Once in handcuffs, he was asked once again about the man that had ran inside, still claiming a lack of knowledge on the matter. I banged my first on the door and stated, for Caleb to hear, that his friend was ALSO getting arrested. Caleb left the apartment within a minute of me stating that, and he was taken into custody.

BRIAN MAU was taken into custody for Accessory to Evading a Peace Officer, having covered for a fleeing felon, misleading deputies and sheltering him in his apartment. CALEB PHORN was taken into custody for Evading a Peace Officer and Grand Theft Auto.

I processed both individuals at Davis Sheriff's Station, where PHORN stated that "his old friend was going to sue me".

    * 240K91 dashcam shows the Scheisser with its lights off, its past 1AM, no natural light. 240K91 drives up parallel to the vehicle for a second, the tints are quite dark. 240K91 proceeds to pull the vehicle over, Santiago hops out and makes contact with the driver, obtaining his ID. The driver, CALEB HORN, steps out of the vehicle. Santiago takes out his handcuffs, HORN runs into the car and drives away, evading. The chase ends on Aguja Street, CALEB hops out and runs into the 4520 Aguja Street Complex. Santiago and Pareja run in after him, they come out a minute later. Santiago gets Anubis out, tracking from the driver seat of the car he had evaded in. The dog leads them into the apartment complex. Several minutes later, Santiago and Pareja come out, BRIAN MAU and CALEB PHORN in handcuffs. *

  5. Hey,

I am chiming in as the Legal Faction Management handler of the San Andreas Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation faction. Truth be told, I don't see a rule break here, but solely a mistake that could've happened to anyone—he forgot to put the parentheses before and after the private message's title to make that reply out of character. You received a reprimand, and the Unit Commander of the division has every right to deny you based solely on the out-of-character reprimand.

Report concluded with no action taken.

    Thank you.
