Detailed description: Currently, Voice chat is implemented for the PD faction to assist in chases. However there exist a solution that solves this in a purely TEXT based manner. The UI script of the PD player shows the street he's in. I don't see why' its not possible to broadcast these street information in a TAC TEXT channel along with a cardinal direction and or speed of the lead vehicle or the centroid average of a cluster of PD cruisers. Its not supposed to be GPS and recognizing street names requires spatial awareness the exact same skills as what a normal VC would require. This is what VC is supposed to solve anyway. No it's getting kinda annoying how people in factions try lock out features script-wise from other players. A radio is just a tool, its electronic equipment. It should be made in a actual item, but not restricted. Boafeng's are radios with frequency hopping in them, literally anyone can buy them. Also there exist text over radio, you can easily send texts over a radio. Also radio's should have a certain range. There can be a whole radio system implemented imo. Basestations = extend range 10km on a frequency Radio (scanner included) = Range up to 3km

The reason people contest these charges is because of the perceived bias in having someone heavily involved with the situation deciding over outcomes. Let me suggest a workflow. Assistant DA sits at the PD, deciding charges on a 5 minute basis and any No Guilty charges get added to the Queue. DA receives these cases in-game or via forum and decides who to prosecute and who not to prosecute. This way you reduce frivolous cases, focusing time to the more severe ones. The DA can effectively reduce its workload by completely removing any non severe prosecutions via settlements, Even allowing severe cases to get dropped for instance as a hefty cash settlement to the state. what im saying is that without the report being reviewed in game, Its very hard to determine who has priority

Short description: The current system allows any police officer for whatever reason he sees fit charge a person for approximately 24 Real Life Hours, before a DA can review the case. In reality there exists a DA or assistant DA in every station whos sole purpose it is to Read Police Reports and charge people according to the report, the evidence or the investigation which is the MINIMUM requirement to combat corruption. Therefor there should be more DA's or assistant DA's who only job it is to read reports and charge in game at the police station, and not treat the DA's office as some Forum only job. Detailed description: In reality the police can arrest and put you under custody for 2 days before a DA needs to review your case and decide charges which happens at the police station after reading the report, In game however 48 hours is a very long time, which basically allows any officer to charge any citizen, with full discretion, for a minimum of 24 Hours Real Life Time before a person, likely already released, can contest the charge with the DA. Possibly dragging it out for weeks. Most PD members will argue that this system is correct. Yet fail to see if you give someone 24 Hours Jail Time for Felony Evasion, but also give the same person 24 Hours Pre-Detention that it this wont equal some form of PowerGame. There are 3 roads: One: You plea guilty and serve for instance a felony of 24 hours. Two: You plea No contest and now have to serve pre-detention for 24 Hours. Three: You plea not guilty and stay in pre-detention indefinitely. So depending on what you choose you at best, end up at the same place but with illogical in game reasoning. at worst you stay in jail for 3 days, spend a week on the forum arguing your case and maybe win in court. Therefor this system shift its internal logic depending on a faux choice to provide a minimum detention period to a citizen with full discretion. The solution: The solution is really simple. Hire people specifically trained to review police reports and decide charges, turning pre-detention into pre-trial detention. There are 5-15 cops online at any given time but you only need 1 assistant DA to charge all the arrests with. This reduces corruption eliminating high adrenaline arrests being turned into revenge by the police officer charging them with exorbitant fee's, impound hours, jail times.
