  1. Please follow the report guidelines.

The title should clearly identify who you are reporting and the content should clearly outline what rules you think were broken, how they were broken and what the implications were. Please transfer any relevant evidence - I've glossed over the thread you linked, but I have no intention of reading through 2 pages of dissertation-type replies to pick out relevant pieces.

  2. Firstly, apologies for the wait.

    While the players being reported are being accused of deathmatching, I can't honestly draw a conclusion with the evidence that has been provided. However, I will say that I feel like what happened here was a breach of the robbing and scamming rules - particularly this part;

    Quote

Large and sophisticated business robberies must be approved by IFM. They can be requested through the IFM requests board with the following information:

    - Target of the robbery.

    - Goal of the robbery (money, revenge, etc).

    - List of participants. - Plan of action (entry, getaway, etc).

Smaller and "in the moment" robberies can be conducted without an approved IFM request. Admin permission and supervision is still required for these, /report to get it. Example: Robbing an open 24/7.

I appreciate that you made a /report and /helpme, though it wasn't asking for permission to rob the place and the response you got simply said "If it ain't on the rules, it ain't a safezone.". Regardless of whether the business is marked on the map or not at the time, I would still say this constitutes a business robbery given the circumstances and should have had administrator approval beforehand.

With the Streamable provided by the reporting party, it's not hard to piece together that the ongoing firefight outside was communicated OOCly and acted upon IC; which is metagaming. I agree that you would be able to hear the shooting in reality, but this is a script limitation that all players are affected by. It simply wouldn't be fair to give people a pass in circumstances like this.

I'm going to void this interaction and authorize refunds for anyone who lost anything; no further action will be taken.

Feel free to message me if there's any outstanding concerns.

I'm sorry for what I did but I didn't actually know that I can't come back to the scene and shoot the other people, and I also thought Brandon is with y'all.

I know that I can prolly get myself permanently banned or something, but I didn't know that I can't just come back right after even though that area had no PD after the s/o.

The issue with what you did is that you were shot, you did /changechar shortly after being shot (the only reason I can think of for this is to refill your health before returning), and then logged out not long after this incident - thus effectively putting a halt to any progression of this roleplay. In reality, you should have been portraying the implications of being shot - not returning to the scene to shoot it up again.

    Antwan Shakur here,

So I didn't shoot anybody but I did tell my faction member what he did was wrong so yes I called the police to assist the duo cause I felt that my faction member did the wrong thing, I've already striked him and everything but I didn't shoot anyone he said he believe that you guys where about to tag the area, and he claims that he believed that you all were ready to shoot or do something to the faction, so he immediately told my character to come and drive on the hit. But I didn't shoot anyone at all.

What I can say though is the '43 faction has came around the Atlantic Drive section before spinning it multiple times, so I don't know why they are sitting here making it seem like they haven't we haven't taken no charges into attacking the faction after we did what we did to your faction. After we seen people spinning the area we knew the timing people was on but once again we didn't do nothing cause we was waiting for you to come around and slide. But instead we find you in our hood looking like you were finna tag up the area.

I shouldn't have to explain this, but it isn't your position to take it upon yourself to right any wrongs by your faction members - at least not in the manner you went about doing it. Doing /changechar and returning to a scene you're involved in on another character is blatant metagaming. I've also just noticed in the logs that you were shot on Antwan as well, but you couldn't have roleplayed the impact of that because you swapped to another character.

The shooting will be voided and the reporting parties can request a refund for anything lost.

@Mobb Skit has been punished for /changechar to heal after being shot, not RPing injuries and deathmatching.

@Shiesty has been punished for metagaming and not RPing injuries.

  4. Apologies for the delay. I dealt with this in game based on hearsay at the time and voided the robbery because I felt like the rules had been broken with regards to crime-free zones. Customization areas are considered crime-free areas and even though it says that if the roleplay lead there then it may continue - I don't accept "I was following them" as a loophole to this rule.

To accuse them of powergaming and metagaming is a bit of a stretch.

    Quote

Meta gaming comes to an aspect when she mentions right off the bat that I'm from south central in /b because I had a few gang affiliation.

This had no bearing on the scene at hand.

    Quote

Powergaming they had no fearrp intention they didn't seem to show any fear roleplay.

They were cooperative, at least from an IC perspective, with the robbery.

It goes without saying that jumping into /b isn't the way to go, as I explained to everybody at the time, and you should obviously remain IC at all times unless instructed otherwise by an administrator. If you feel like the rules have been broken, use /report, collect evidence if applicable, and continue to roleplay.

Even with video evidence, I see no reason to push this any further and I'll stand by the judgement I made in game at the time. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions / concerns to address.

No further action will be taken.

  5. I feel for you, but I'm sorry - ignorance of the rules doesn't warrant voiding the entire scene for everybody else involved.

Always follow an administrator's instructions even if you disagree with the decision. If you feel an admin is making the wrong decision, the decision can be reviewed by a member of Staff Management.

Failing to roleplay a situation is strictly forbidden. You're expected to be roleplaying at all times, If a player breaks the rule during the situation you must finish the roleplay and report later.  You must also roleplay any injuries that occur to your character or any accidents that happen when driving, even if you are alone.

Before this even escalated to where it's at now, you were well within your right to proceed IC until told otherwise by an administrator. You didn't have to chill there waiting for an administrator to take their report.

Price hasn't done anything wrong here - no action will be taken.

  6. I was watching at the time and didn't see any wrongdoing from Valentina. I instructed everyone to remain IC and I even made you aware when I first took the report that you aren't obligated to hang around and wait for an admin; you are IC at all times until an administrator says otherwise.

Once the roleplay resumed, you decided to hang around and bash some skulls with a bat... as opposed to getting out of there. That was your choice. You can't really complain that you got caught when you had ample opportunity to get out of there.

  7. In fairness, I was tabbed out when you guys PMed me about needing to log. That being said, you really shouldn't be getting into scenarios like this if you know you're getting off soon - it's especially annoying for everybody else involved.

Would it be possible to arrange to continue this roleplay?

  8. You were shot, that much is clear as day in the streamable you linked - but you opted to hang around in an area where a gun fight just ensured to pick up a rifle off a body for whatever reason. The player who shot you obviously has no idea what's going on, given the distance - as far as he can tell you are standing over the body of someone I'm guessing he knows.

    DmNrrfw.png

You didn't have to stay there and you certainly didn't have to start looting guns from the people you just shot. You knew full well that the area was hot and you could be shot at any moment, considering you'd just participated in the gun fight. Hanging around is a risk you took and I don't expect anybody to "pause" in the middle of an active fire fight.

There's insufficient evidence to determine whether or not Treyvon was stalling or whether he was coordinating with your shooter. There's a 15 second gap between him unequipping the gun to hand it over and you being shot - I wouldn't call this stalling.

    No action will be taken.
