Six In Custody After Gruppe 6 Officer Shoots Dead A Detective Written By Gabriel Stone, 29/09/2023 (Picture courtesy of G6's official FB page.) According to a reputable source, on the 27th of September a Gruppe Six officer was shot and killed by a detective with the LSSD. The detective was on his home when the female security officer entered his property in Sandy Shores. According to sources, the detective was the new homeowner and a contract with G6 still remained for the property without his knowledge. The security officer arrived and was shot dead at some point after refusing to leave the property, though it's not certain if this happened as a result of a misunderstanding or G6's records not being updated after the change of ownership. However, on the 28th of September six Gruppe 6 officers returned to that address, which is a trailer. Among these six individuals was their CEO, County Director and the husband of the deceased officer from the previous day. Allegedly they were responding to a property alarm at the trailer just a day after the shooting. It's uncertain what exactly happened during the visit, but the result was that the husband of the dead G6 officer shot and killed the detective involved. All six individuals are now in custody pending investigation. The detective himself was not facing charges by recommendation of the Sheriff's department, however the District Attorney was aware of the casefile surrounding the incident and was looking into it. Allegedly the number of individuals, alongside their rank responding to a property alarm at a trailer was excessive and is being treated as suspicious. Gruppe 6 is a company that has worked hard over the last year to distance itself from a formerly poor reputation, it's possible that this incident has set such efforts back. Either way, the incident is being closely investigated. Only time can tell what this might mean for existing Gruppe 6 customers. More information to unfold as the investigation continues.
