Contemporary technology and law enforcement intervention may have hampered the mafia’s growth, however its exclusivity is still a lure for the impressionable youth of today. While it is true that the mob’s everyday crime has mostly entered the offices of companies, organizations and businesses, this is not entirely the case as violence and intimidation continues to serve as a means to an end.
