Posted August 29, 2022 Share Posted August 29, 2022 CELEBRATION OF LIFE: FIRE CAPTAIN I LUCAS MOREL 29th of August, 2022 LSFD Public Affairs Supervisor Jennifer Schneider LOS SANTOS - Employees of the Los Santos Fire Department are deeply saddened by the death of Fire Captain I Lucas Morel who passed away on Saturday 27th of August, 2022. Lucas Morel was born on August 5th, 1988 in the city of Metz, in North-Eastern France. Before joining the department, Captain Morel served in the United States Armed Forces for 2 years. Captain Morel served the department as a firefighter and also a K9 handler for the Urban Search and Rescue division. Captain Morel was assigned as the Commanding Officer of the Urban Search and Rescue division and retired from his position as the commander just a few days ago. He started his journey at Station 3 in Davis and was just recently transferred to Station 7 in El Burro. At the time of his passing, Captain Morel was assigned to Station 7 in El Burro, Truck 7 company on shift B. Captain Morel tragically passed away while battling a structure fire on Buen Vino Road in the evening hours on Saturday, 27th of August, 2022. The funeral date will be released in the upcoming days on our official website here. Captain Lucas Morel leaves behind his family and his K9 dog, Ares. 50854, status one.
