Yeah, I think I worded that badly. Jim Crow's era laws are not okay for Sandy Shores and I do admit that the county can be overtly racist a tad too much. A bunch of people from different ethnicities live in the county hassle free. Unfortunately, most encounters with characters that are not hispanic or asian are big trolls looking to instigate a fight or simply being outright retarded which defaults to a complete meltdown by the locals (which again are mostly related to white supremacy factions, the odds of encountering one is really high) and results in the portrayal of Sandy seeming like its back to the 60s. Could it be changed? Absolutely.

Sandy Shores, IN CHARACTER, is predominantly white and by white I mean most residents are white supremacists. There are skinheads and motorcycle clubs there. What are you expecting from this conversation? What's the entire goal of this, what is the outcome you want? All I see are complaints that lead nowhere. The county's full of drug addicts and criminals, Sandy Shores is literally a forsaken town. You're expecting acceptance from a bunch of meth heads who's only goal is to make money, do more drugs and earn a reputation by either going to prison/doing criminal acts? There are no schools and no jobs in the county except trucking and being a mechanic. That's not gonna put food on the table for your average Joe living in the county.

Los Angeles does not exist in our timeline, we're not gonna portray something that doesn't exist. Everything that's happened over the years in the county has been through in-character occurences, racism and all. Maybe you don't like it that it's Jim Crow era over there but it's the way it is because of all the roleplay done over the years. Don't forget there are racist towns in America still. Lemme give you an example like Harrison, Arkansas. It has a population of 13,000 people whereas Sandy Shores has 3,010. And no, I'm not European. I'm an American so no need to patronize me on that shit.

Sandy Shores gets its fair share of retarded (not exclusively) city visitors and they're dealt with accordingly. To say everyone gets harassed in the county is a plain lie. If you're acting stupid or bring heat on the locals then you'll be told to fuck off. Sandy Shores and the county is predominantly white so I don't know why you act surprised when an African-American character shows up and is made to leave, not to mention the usual individuals that show up are morons that love to instigate fights then go cry about it on the forums. Would you start hanging out at Davis with your white character and expect to be treated fairly? Come on now.
