Little Tokyo 小東京 aims to portray a realistic group of organized criminals operating out of the Japanese American district on South Rockford Drive. The group is inspired by the reality of Japanese American citizens living on the West Coast, where over half live below the poverty line. As members of the organization progress, the role of local businesses becomes essential in returning financial deniability and a sense of normalcy to their lives. Local associations are often held accountable for their grip on housing and social support in the area, though have never been proven to be linked to organized criminal activity.

Our focus is on accurate character and group development. New characters should not expect to progress without meeting sufficient time and portrayal requirements. Our goal is to provide a plethora of different roleplay avenues and a healthy mix of diversity in characters and encounters. Characters should portray struggles and flaws. Not everyone is perfect, and unique character identities and individualism are highly encouraged. Make yourself stand out with your character's story and development and allow things to grow naturally through the course of your roleplay.

Aspiring members should be Japanese-American males in their teens or early twenties with accurate low-income portrayal. Players wishing to roleplay characters that are an exception to that rule should contact a member of leadership through the proper channels. To maintain standards, recruitment is handled ICly after we've had time to evaluate your roleplay.
