MCB666
Introduction (1970s) (Vietnam Refugees, 1975) Large-scale immigration from Vietnam to the United States began at the end of the Vietnam War, when the fall of Saigon in 1975 led to the U.S.-sponsored evacuation of an estimated 125,000 Vietnamese refugees. As the humanitarian crisis and displacement of people in the Indochina region (Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos other SEA Countries etc.) forward, more refugees and their families were admitted to the United States. The Vietnamese immigrant population has grown significantly since then, roughly doubling every decade between 1980 and 2000, and then increasing 26 percent in the 2000s. In 2017, more than 1.3 million Vietnamese resided in the United States, accounting for 3 percent of the nation’s 44.5 million immigrants and representing the sixth-largest foreign-born group in the country. The Bandits History (1990s) (Tagged Up Pawn Shop, 1994) Originally W/S Oriental Bandit Crips was a clique of petty thieves of 1st-2nd generation Vietnamese Immigrants who set voyage to America after the end of the Vietnam War. Upon arrivial in the america they experienced the same racism as the Cambodians & Other SEA's by Mexican and black and even Cacuasian gangs in Vespucci. OBC gained the name "Bandit" after a news article was published about a pawn shop robbery, the victim of the robbery called the group of SEA teenagers "Bandits" which stuck by the group till this day. Later on in the 1990's the gang adopted the Crip Card after gaining an alliance and heavy friendship with the W/S Vespucci Shoreline Crips. MODERN W/S ORIENTAL BANDIT CRIP (OBC Gang Members, 2021) The W/S Oriental Bandit Crip Gang also known as Oriental Bandit Crip 152223, (OBC 152223), Canals Boyz (CB), is a predominantly Southeast Asian crime syndicate based in Vespucci which still keeps it's street-gang culture. The group is known across certain parts of the United States (Mainly; Seattle, Houston, Salt Lake City) as one of the most successful and ruthless criminal Asian organizations in the history of the country aside from Asian Boyz & Wah Ching Groups (respectfully), with connections to several known organized crime syndicates across the states. The notorious Vespucci-based street gang has a variety of members and affiliates, ranging from Vietnamese, Korean and Cambodian, as the Canal Boyz clique is a gang based in one of most heavily asian communities in the city of Los Santos coming 2nd to K-Town. Recruiting for the gang starts young as affiliates of W/S OBC gang target youthful members as early as ten years old and affilitates will often pressure them into being a member of the W/S Oriental Bandit Crip gang. MISC The Baltimore Orioles & Toronto Blue Jays Logo and sports team attire are both sported by the W/S Oriental Bandit Crip gang as a sign of affliation. The Orioles was adapted due to the first initial in the gang's name "O" and the Toronto Blue Jays logo is also used by the gang; mostly by the "Canal Boyz" the only active clique OBC Clique in Vespucci as of 2021.
