Thought this already existed because alternative characters are needed especially in gangs for so many different reasons, one of them being if you're a really high rank in the faction and you would want to experience being a low rank again and roleplay with other low ranks then you should be allowed to do that.

Even at that, gangs, organized crime, bikers, all illegal concepts need alts... and waiting a week for a simple yes/no is a waste of time, when it can be simply solved by just making the character, and reporting the person if they do something bad.

 

Having the rule in place doesn't stop MG, people can get shit approved, and MG afterwards and they'll be dealt with... same result without it, so it's really pointless to even have it in the first place.

You're right, even though if you apply for the character people still can MG IC information, and that's why you got the report section where you can report players who MG.

 

It'll be tough for organized crime factions to always be a boss forever without having the right to just make a alternative character to roleplay with the other low ranks, having a alternative character basically gives more roleplay to the faction and the community.

Exactly. There's also a chance of denial too, and it's pretty clear that most people support this so I don't even see why IFM would be against it at this point honestly. If anything, it's restricting RP right now... and the end result will be the same, MG can happen either way... no point punishing the whole server for that, simply because of a few bad apples.
