This sounds fine in practice, but there are many times when a supervisor isn't available, or is pre-occupied doing other things, or has to drive across the entire city just to impound a car. If public works isn't available, and there's no supervisors, you're kinda just SOL. I've had to call an admin over via /report several times for this before. Police already get access to way more powerful tools at the lowest of ranks - handcuffs, tazers, beanbag shotguns, etc. Why is /this/ where the line's drawn? Relevant Commands/Items: All you'd need to do is remove the location limitation on one command, that being /impound. How will it benefit the server? It'll benefit the server by not wasting the time of everyone involved. Admins, supervisors, etc. If people abuse it, then they'll just face OOC repercussions same as they would for abusing handcuffs, the arrestprison command, and all that.
