Vespucci Beach, Los Santos — Vespucci Beach is the fifth largest city within Los Santos, and the second largest city in Los Santos County. It is 58.3 square miles of land along the southern coast of Los Santos County. It is about 20 miles south of downtown Los Santos. The port of Vespucci Beach is one of the world’s largest shipping ports. The city also has a large oil industry, found both underground and offshore. In the 1950s, the city was predominantly Caucasian and nicknamed “Iowa by the Sea”. The city was a major port of entry for European, Asian and Latin American immigrants headed to Los Santos in the 20th century. According to a report by LS Today in 2000, Vespucci Beach was the most ethnically diverse large city in the United States. Due to this, gang violence in the Vespucci Beach region is still very much alive and well. The gangs that operate through Vespucci Beach are quite comparable to South Central or Rancho, two other major locations that spring to mind when discussing gang-banging in the state of Los Santos. They were organized and formed many years, if not decades, ago. The Vespucci Beach region has seen up to 58.3% of shootings between 2022 and 2023, according to police records, with gang-related shootings accounting for the majority of these incidents. Numerous gangs of all colors may be found on Vespucci Beach, but there is an intense racial conflict between African-Americans and Mexican / Hispanics. Being one of the few Vespucci Beach gangs that does claim Gangster Crips (3x), compared to all the other hoods in Vespucci, they're engaged in a vicious war with many other crips in the city. The E/S Linden Blocc Gangster Crips are one of the smallest gangs in Vespucci Beach. But they are a highly respected and violent crip gang. The gang is believed to have been a break-off of the popular Rollin 20's Crips, but they allegedly inherited the 3x card and formed a beef with their predecessors. There is two sides of their hood, the 17th Street Linden Blocc Gangster Crips and the 19th Street Gangster Crips. They were two separate hoods in the beginning but in recent times, they have formed into one, having members of the Linden's from 17th and 19th Street. They and the Rollin 80's Crips a/k/a West Coast 80's also have a very brutal rivalry, and because they are two of some of the largest and most popular gangs in Vespucci Beach, it almost seems like they're fighting for control of the city. Vespucci Beach has an area known as the "Eastside" where gangs congregate near the Del Perro Highway at an area that appears to be in the southern portion of Vespucci Beach based on geological evidence. There is a numer of gangs in this area, from Black, Mexican, to Asian gangs. The list goes as followed: Insane Crips, Rollin 20's Crips, Esther Blocc Crips, Sons of Samoa Gangster Crips, Blacc Bandit Crips, and a number of other diverse gangs. One of the largest opposing factions on the east is known as the E/S Longos who feud with all gangs listed. On the north & west side of Vespucci Beach, groups have similarly formed. Vespucci Beach is home to a few other Sureno, Crip, and Asian factions.
