Never said anything about recruiting IC and OOC, and clearly you should think with your head aswell and figure out that if everyone had their own illegal faction they wouldn't be factions at all because they'd just contain one person... All I'm saying is I've always played on servers where you were allowed to make your own groups freely with no restriction and there was no problem about it. Imo more factions means more roleplay as factions intertwine, work together and perhaps even merge, and more possible conflict as they collide with eachother over business and territories, which is good.

nothing's wrong with the auto economy, lowballers have always existed and always will. if you don't want to sell your car at the price that people are giving you, then don't. if people aren't giving you a price that you feel is good, then other people will go for that price and it's up to you to adjust yourself. i don't feel it's smart to see it as "something wrong with the economy" as much as a logical progression of the server - if it's that way, that's because we (the players) allowed it to be that way. if cars are selling for half their dealership value that's because people are selling them for that much. that being said i have absolutely no issue selling my vehicles for what some people might see as fucked up prices (i.e very close to dealership unregistered value). maybe you're just not patient enough, not good at selling your shit or not finding the right customers. also dealerships are scammy as fuck with the prices they buy cars at (which is understandable, they need to turn a profit). That might be one of the causes why used cars sell for so low.

might be worth mentioning that unless your character is black or latino (and sometimes even in those cases) the only RP you'll get in south central is getting robbed or buying drugs LOL it's certainly a roleplay hotspot, and i spend a lot of time there on my character, but a hostile and dangerous one. and not everybody wants to/is prepared to deal with the eventualities of that

thats... not necessarily stupid. it should be pretty easy to understand why any character remotely involved in illegal factions wouldn't want to be seen talking with a cop
