  5. ANNOUNCEMENT— Quick announcement, if you encounter any rule-breaking or troll-ish behavior coming from a band of people that consider/call themselves "Grape Street," contact me on the forums. I've been dealing with the instances through roleplay, but from what I've been hearing (OOC & IC) the trolling is becoming too excessive. If deemed necessary, continue to settle any issue(s) with the real members of my faction, in-character. Off of a more serious note, if you are interested in joining the faction, use the discord link below to come roleplay with us. Once you join the discord, you will be granted permissions after you fill out your #checc-in and your #ck-permissions. Also, we plan to have more female members in the faction. So, if you feel that you can properly roleplay a female in the climate of a male-dominated Rancho/Watts gang, you may be granted a put-on role. This can obviously be revoked if you fail to roleplay up to the faction's standards. RANCHO GRAPETIVITIES DISCORD— https://discord.gg/jC6dUjD69K NOTE— Above only applies to the first two female characters that we get, so that we can allow a put-on process for any oncoming female characters in the future.
  6. Literally a thread name, we dont even mention the Watts in character.
  7. UPDATES ON THE FACTION— Thank you to everyone showing love to the thread. I just realized that I do not want to the deal with the potential influx of private messages since this a solo-lead faction, so feel free to join the discord below if you are interested in roleplaying Grape Street Watts Crip with us. WATTS GRAPTIVITES DISCORD https://discord.gg/BPpgxZJB NOTES— Once you join the discord, you will be prompted to do you "ck-permissions" and your "checc-in." After, you will be given roles and you will be an official member of the faction. In addition, if we meet you in-character, we are open to in-game recruiting. If you want to join the faction after roleplaying with us in-game, private message me while in-game and I will send you an invite via Discord.

  9. RANCHO GRAPETIVITIES Above is a Projeckbabytwin video, where you can see the surroundings and climate of the Jordan Downs Housing Projects. THE JORDAN DOWNS, CIRCA DE 1900'S— The Jordan Downs Housing Projects was a complex, opening up in 1944 on the eastside of South Central, Los Santos. Originally, the Jordan Downs served as a safe haven for war workers. Within the next ten years, it was converted to public housing, shortly after it would be known as one of the last public housing complexes in the city of Los Santos. Moving onto the development stage. The Jordan Downs quickly became a black neighborhood after the tenancy changed from majority white to one-hundred percent black, due the westward migration of African Americans after the war. Slowly, the conditions of the projects began shifting, by means of many of its inhabitants being on welfare, the ideas of racism issued out by the government, the lack of education and jobs, and the poverty rates in the area. Because of all of these leading factors, a depression fell over the area which caused a concentration of societal indifference or hostility. Within years, the Jordan Downs would be home to one of the most violent events in America’s history. The Rancho Riots or the Rancho Rebellion was a series of riots around the Rancho area, which greatly involved the Jordan Downs Projects as well. After a mistaken traffic stop in the area, a young black man was subject to an accidental arrest on his behalf. The young man supposedly failed a sobriety test during a traffic stop, which caused him to go at it with the police officer arresting him. His family then rushed to the scene and combatted for him, which led to an ongoing fight between the police force and the homeowners in Rancho and its many project homes. This rebellion would then go on to last six days, resulting in thirty-four deaths, over one-thousand injuries, over four-thousand arrests. This entire riot involved over thirty-thousand people and resulted in the destruction of one-thousand buildings, totaling into forty-million dollars in damages. THE FOUNDATION— With all of these events to take account of, the area of Rancho would continue to strive as one of the poorest areas at the time. As history shows, we all know what happens in a poor, crime-ridden area, people begin to divide and create their own sectors and groups. One of the largest gangs to ever originate in the Rancho area was the Rancho Varrio Grape Street crips, an hispanic gang that consisted of hispanics and African Americans. The soon to come 1970’s would bring a new divide within the gang, changing the association of the black and hispanic sides of the gang. Due to the hispanic members of the Rancho Varrio Grapes aligning themselves with the Mexican Mafia Sureno brand, in which they changed their names to the South Side Varrio Grape 13’s. The black side of the gang went on to make the infamous gang known as the Rancho Baby Loc Crips or Grape Street Rancho Crips, and the home they would take would be known as the Jordan Down Housing Projects. Outside of the Jordan Downs Housing Projects, the gang's turf also stretches from Grape Street to 97th Street, which is between Alameda Street and 103rd Street. Although the gangs formed an official divide, the two gangs still hold a strong relationship with each other. There is a chance that you may find older members of the Grape Street Rancho Crips with Rancho Varrio Grape tattoos, even though they are members of the Grape Street Rancho Crips. This is a direct result of the divide between the WVG’s and GSWC’s. ALLIES & ENEMIGOS— As tensions began to rise in the area, the Grape Street Rancho Crips would go on to form enemies around the area, along with allies. The Grape Street Rancho crips would be a part of bloodiest rivalries in the Rancho area, which was between the Bounty Hunter Bloods and the Grape Street Rancho Crips. After years of ongoing beef, the Bounty Hunters and the Grape Street Rancho Crips would form the Rancho Truce, along with the PJ Rancho Crips or Project Rancho Crips in 1992. Although they had written peace, the two groups would go back to feuding within the next couple of years. Apart from the Bounty Hunter Bloods and PJ Rancho Crips, the Grapes also find themselves in constant feud with the Hacienda Village Bloods, Ten Line Gangster Crips, Circle City Pirus, Fudge Town Mafia Crips, and Rollin 60’s Neighborhood Crips. In addition, they also share common enemies with their predecessors, the East Coast Crips and Florencia 13 gang. Other than their enemies, their allies consist of the South Side Rancho Varrio Grape 13’s, Eight Tray Gangster Crips, Rollin 30’s Harlem Crips, Compton Crips, and now the Hoover Criminals. MODERN DAY POLITICS— In recent times, the Grape Street Rancho Crips have had closer relations to the Hoover Criminals. Young members from both sides have been collaborating via music and other sources through the internet. One of the most famous collaborations between the Grape Street Rancho Crips and the Hoovers was Projeckbabytwin’s song titled, Fist Fight, with Tr3yway6k and Fay3hunnit. Ever since the groups have formed a bond through music and other outlets, they have formed a closer bond.
