  1. This char story will be following the life of Darren "Damage" Rojas of the SOXLOS13 117'th st Baby Lokos Clika 117 Damage Darren Rojas, like many of the other young men and women from the Rancho area, is a hotheaded young man, plotting and scheming to make a quick buck. Originally his goals in life were to get a basketball scholarship to a decent college but things changed when he was shot three times and survived. He made a full recovery and went back to hooping but was shot seven more times, for a total of ten gun shot wounds in which he survived. The surgery was a success, Darren somehow some way made a full recovery but by then it was too late. He was already somewhat active in his neighborhood even though the "big homies" had urged him to pursue school and basketball. By this point he had nothing but his wits and his brothers on 117th street. He did a couple of bids with his childhood bestfriend, Symere "Panic" Martinez and by the time his second stint was over, he had been put on the same day he got out. He was no longer Darren Rojas. He was now Damage from SOXLOS13. This is his story.
  2. DOWN AND OUT (IN RANCHO AND L.S.)
  3. JST previously dubbed Making Enemies Rank (MER) originates as a tagging crew out of Roy Lowenstein and Jamestown St. The crew was quickly integrated into the growing Traviesos, with many members earning their put ons and the crew becoming a clique. After gaining notoriety as an established clique the members adopted the name JST as means to represent Jamestown Steet & to solidify turf growth. Members of JST are known for their red ragging, which serves as a way of being identified as “crip killers” through the adoption of blood aesthetics. The clique is still well known for its tagging.
  4. South Los 13 - The South Los 13 (SXL13) is a predominantly Hispanic street gang in South Los Santos. This gang is still loyal to the Mexican Mafia to this day, as indicated with the number “13” in the street gang's name. Their territory stretches from Jamestown Street to Macdonald Street, between Innocence Boulevard to Carson Avenue. They feud with the 18th Street Gang, Florencia 13, Junior Mafia 13, Playboys 13, Barrio 13, Capones 13, Gardena 13, all East Coast Crips and all Hoover Criminals. South Los originated from the Raymond Avenue Crips, a Mexican by the name of Bozo allegedly started the South Los 13 gang. They were able to sustain themselves with the support of the Raymond Avenue Crips. The Raymond Avenue Crips helped South Los 13 to fight off a variety of gangs, the most notable Gardena 13. South Los is said to be originated about 1975, they gained traction through gang violence, and everything that comes with gangbanging. Hoovers vs Sox Los - The most notable beef that the South Los’ do have, are the Hoover Criminals. The Hoover Criminals and the South Los’, at one point and still are sworn enemies. During the mid 80’s, the South Los’ and Hoover Criminals were on decent terms. Their territories were pretty close to each other, so it made it almost impossible to avoid them. During the mid to late 80’s, the South Los’ started the war with the Hoovers, the reason being that the Hoover Criminals were selling drugs in the South Los’ turf. Friction and tension built up between the two sets, school fights and brawls were happening almost everyday. A select few South Los members started going into the 112 Hoover Criminals turf, antagonizing them. Allegedly, a South Los member named Bugsy would roll his wheelchair inside of 112 Hoover Criminals territory and stand down the Hoovers, while dissing them. In 1989, a few 112 Hoover Criminal members were shooting dice with a South Los member, allegedly the South Los member had gotten upset that he had lost the game, leading him to rob the dice game. The South Los member then retrieved his firearm and started opening fire at the 112 Hoovers, two of the Hoover affiliates were struck in the head by the bullets, leading both of them to death upon arrival. Tensions between the sets reached a new height after this incident. In 1990, Bugsy from South Los rolled into the 112 Hoover territory with his wheelchair, and began taunting them. This time, the Hoovers didn’t give Bugsy a pass, and opened fire on Bugsy. Bugsy was left for dead on the street, dying from his gunshot wounds. Bugsy’s death was the official kick off to the South Los and Hoover war. After Bugsy’s death, South Los applied major pressure to the 112 Hoovers. Around this time, South Los were at their peak, they had the advantage over 112 Hoover. The 112’s were in a vulnerable state, due to the other beef they were engaged in. The South Los 13 was reportedly pushing the hardline on the 112 Hoovers. Daily shootings and murders would occur, allegedly sending groups to jump the Hoovers in traffic, and boldly hanging out in the 112 Hoovers territory. Around the 1990’s, South Los had the upper hand on the 112 Hoovers, pushing them out of their territory. By the late 90’s the 112’s started sharing neighborhoods with the 107 Hoovers, also known as the Selos. South Los vs Gardena 13 - On May 18th, 1990, at about 11:30, seven young people left the carnival together and began walking home. The group noticed a dark van pass them, the group continued walking and the same van passed them again. As the group approached an intersection, the group noticed the same van for the third time. Someone in the group gave the van the middle finger, the van turned right and stopped. Four members of the group crossed the street, while three stopped on the corner. A South Los member walked up to the four members, he asked the group were they were from, but without giving them time to respond, he raised his right hand and started shooting. He fired five times before returning back to the van, and entered the passenger side. One shot struck a female Gardena 13 member in her leg, three hit a male Gardena 13 member in the chest, abdomen, and the leg, the other members of the group ended up running away. The male shot three times ended up dying from his gunshot wounds. On March 18th, 2017, a few Gardena 13 members entered a territory claimed by the South Los 13. The G13 members spotted a known South Los member inside of a house party. The G13 members stayed outside of the house party and waited for the South Los member to come outside. Once the South Los member came outside, the G13 members asked him where he was from. The South Los affiliate responded with “This South Los, foo.” This resulted in the South Los member being gunned down in front of the party. Modern Day South Los - In current times, the South Los’ aren’t as active as they used to be. This is because of all the beefs they had, they couldn’t hold their own. The police played a big part in this gang's fall, several members getting arrested on a daily basis. The younger generation of the South Los gang are known to be a little more reckless than before. They tend to be more reckless so they can put their gang out there, since most of the older members are incarcerated or dead. The newer generation of the South Los’ push the hardline on all Hoovers, they don’t like any Hoovers at all. They also don’t like the Gardena 13 gang, as well as 18th Street, another Mexican gang. South Los beefs with a large amount of street-gangs, still to this day. Their rivals go as far as MS-13, Playboys 13, Florencia 13, and East Coast.
  5. Dukes [Dukeros, DKS] DKS serves as a frontline clique of the TGS 13 gang, with members usually picked from especially violent or notorious affiliates. The clique is organized by respected older gang members, with a strong adherence to hierarchy and discipline amongst members. Members of DKS continue Traviesos’ original blue ragging stance.

  8. 91st Street Ryders: 91st Street Ryders is a relatively small group located on Jamestown Street, the group is comprised of small-time trappers and taggers, ranging from early teens to very early twenties. Having been created by a group of local kids as a form of unity after a string of robberies and attacks in their neighborhood as a result of the predatory gang culture that infests South Central. Despite being created in an attempt to protect themselves from gang aggression in South Central, 91st Street Ryders have all the makings of being an actual gang. It's believed that some members of this group have ties to the organized criminal entities that plague the streets of Los Santos. Some of the members within this group can be seen sporting both the Toronto Blue Jays and Huston Rockets, signifying Jamestown Street and their link to the Rancho area as a whole. This group is relatively young and mostly partake in criminal mischief, robbery, drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, and in some cases murder. OOC Information: As this is a relatively new concept, this thread will be constantly updated to depict in character events as they transpire within the group. Even though the 91st Street Ryders is a fictional concept, we strive to portray a realistic depiction of a section on the south side that will be starting as a group of young trappers and taggers. Every member of this faction prioritizes character development and faction development over anything. All content that's posted on this thread will showcase said character development that pertains to the faction. The 91st Street Ryder's leadership retains the right to character kill anybody aspiring to be involved with this faction. If you are interested in joining and need guidance when it comes to portraying your character, feel free to contact @Dustyboi with any questions or concerns.

  10. RANCHO GRAPETIVITIES Above is a Projeckbabytwin video, where you can see the surroundings and climate of the Jordan Downs Housing Projects. THE JORDAN DOWNS, CIRCA DE 1900'S— The Jordan Downs Housing Projects was a complex, opening up in 1944 on the eastside of South Central, Los Santos. Originally, the Jordan Downs served as a safe haven for war workers. Within the next ten years, it was converted to public housing, shortly after it would be known as one of the last public housing complexes in the city of Los Santos. Moving onto the development stage. The Jordan Downs quickly became a black neighborhood after the tenancy changed from majority white to one-hundred percent black, due the westward migration of African Americans after the war. Slowly, the conditions of the projects began shifting, by means of many of its inhabitants being on welfare, the ideas of racism issued out by the government, the lack of education and jobs, and the poverty rates in the area. Because of all of these leading factors, a depression fell over the area which caused a concentration of societal indifference or hostility. Within years, the Jordan Downs would be home to one of the most violent events in America’s history. The Rancho Riots or the Rancho Rebellion was a series of riots around the Rancho area, which greatly involved the Jordan Downs Projects as well. After a mistaken traffic stop in the area, a young black man was subject to an accidental arrest on his behalf. The young man supposedly failed a sobriety test during a traffic stop, which caused him to go at it with the police officer arresting him. His family then rushed to the scene and combatted for him, which led to an ongoing fight between the police force and the homeowners in Rancho and its many project homes. This rebellion would then go on to last six days, resulting in thirty-four deaths, over one-thousand injuries, over four-thousand arrests. This entire riot involved over thirty-thousand people and resulted in the destruction of one-thousand buildings, totaling into forty-million dollars in damages. THE FOUNDATION— With all of these events to take account of, the area of Rancho would continue to strive as one of the poorest areas at the time. As history shows, we all know what happens in a poor, crime-ridden area, people begin to divide and create their own sectors and groups. One of the largest gangs to ever originate in the Rancho area was the Rancho Varrio Grape Street crips, an hispanic gang that consisted of hispanics and African Americans. The soon to come 1970’s would bring a new divide within the gang, changing the association of the black and hispanic sides of the gang. Due to the hispanic members of the Rancho Varrio Grapes aligning themselves with the Mexican Mafia Sureno brand, in which they changed their names to the South Side Varrio Grape 13’s. The black side of the gang went on to make the infamous gang known as the Rancho Baby Loc Crips or Grape Street Rancho Crips, and the home they would take would be known as the Jordan Down Housing Projects. Outside of the Jordan Downs Housing Projects, the gang's turf also stretches from Grape Street to 97th Street, which is between Alameda Street and 103rd Street. Although the gangs formed an official divide, the two gangs still hold a strong relationship with each other. There is a chance that you may find older members of the Grape Street Rancho Crips with Rancho Varrio Grape tattoos, even though they are members of the Grape Street Rancho Crips. This is a direct result of the divide between the WVG’s and GSWC’s. ALLIES & ENEMIGOS— As tensions began to rise in the area, the Grape Street Rancho Crips would go on to form enemies around the area, along with allies. The Grape Street Rancho crips would be a part of bloodiest rivalries in the Rancho area, which was between the Bounty Hunter Bloods and the Grape Street Rancho Crips. After years of ongoing beef, the Bounty Hunters and the Grape Street Rancho Crips would form the Rancho Truce, along with the PJ Rancho Crips or Project Rancho Crips in 1992. Although they had written peace, the two groups would go back to feuding within the next couple of years. Apart from the Bounty Hunter Bloods and PJ Rancho Crips, the Grapes also find themselves in constant feud with the Hacienda Village Bloods, Ten Line Gangster Crips, Circle City Pirus, Fudge Town Mafia Crips, and Rollin 60’s Neighborhood Crips. In addition, they also share common enemies with their predecessors, the East Coast Crips and Florencia 13 gang. Other than their enemies, their allies consist of the South Side Rancho Varrio Grape 13’s, Eight Tray Gangster Crips, Rollin 30’s Harlem Crips, Compton Crips, and now the Hoover Criminals. MODERN DAY POLITICS— In recent times, the Grape Street Rancho Crips have had closer relations to the Hoover Criminals. Young members from both sides have been collaborating via music and other sources through the internet. One of the most famous collaborations between the Grape Street Rancho Crips and the Hoovers was Projeckbabytwin’s song titled, Fist Fight, with Tr3yway6k and Fay3hunnit. Ever since the groups have formed a bond through music and other outlets, they have formed a closer bond.
