  2. Make it so it has both pros and cons to it. Don’t allow the tackle command to be 100% successful, change the probability of the tackle of actually going through so it benefits both sides. The individual attempting the tackle knows the risk involved. If they make an attempt and it fails, the other person gets a few extra seconds to get away. I think if it was set up with a even playing field it could be great for everyone involved. Similarly to flipping a coin. example: A male was seen assaulting people at the Davis gas station. A cop pulls up and a foot pursuit ensues. As the cop gets closer to the male he uses the cmd/hotkey to make the tackle attempt. As the probability is 50/50, the cop knows the risks involved. He makes the attempt and fails, leaving him on the ground for a few extra seconds. Resulting in the runner having the extra time to get away. Alternatively, if it was successful he catches the guy.
  3. Public Service Announcement Due to recent events, we would like to bring awareness to the public in how to deal with medical emergencies. Over the past month there has been a few cases of individuals driving directly to Fire Station 7 to seek medical treatment, as they drive past multiple hospitals. If you have the means to do so, please visit the closest hospital first. At the end of the day, we can only provide temporary treatment and transport to a hospital. Stay safe folks. March 8th 2020 LSFD Public Relations: Rudy McLemore (Image courtesy of Samantha Love) Health and safety are two of the most important factors to the Los Santos Fire Department. Life threatening treatments require the fastest response possible for the increase in a patient's survival rate. Over the past month, there has been an increase in patients driving directly to Fire Station 7 (El Burro) for wound treatment. When this act is committed, you are decreasing the survival rate rather than driving directly to an emergency room at one of the many hospitals spread throughout San Andreas and Los Santos. You should never seek hospital-like treatment at a Fire Station. Every minute counts. With a medical crisis, it is important to get help as soon as possible. Judgement must be taken into consideration if you should either take a trip yourself to the emergency room, or contact emergency services. In specific cases, this can lead to life or death. If you are too distraught or unable to transport effectively. It is best to call 9-1-1. The Los Santos Fire Department can only offer temporary treatment until a patient is transported to a hospital. Know which symptoms may require you to call 9-1-1. According to the American College of Emergency Physicians, the following are warning signs of a medical emergency: Difficulty breathing, shortness of breath Chest or upper abdominal pain or pressure Fainting Sudden dizziness, weakness or change in vision Change in mental status (such as unusual behavior, confusion, difficulty arousing) Sudden, severe pain anywhere in the body Bleeding that won’t stop Severe or persistent vomiting Coughing up or vomiting blood Suicidal or homicidal feelings In the cases of you or someone involved in the situation takes the initiative to transport the injured person(s), it is best to seek help directly at the Hospital. Trust your instincts. spacer Original release: https://lsfd.gta.world/viewtopic.php?f=331&t=6317&p=23430#p23429
