So, I'm running a ryzen 7, 32 gigs of ram and a 3080 and I get constant texture loss at high settings. It seems stucks at 50% mem usage, and it's only in GTA. CPU isn't bottle-necked - And no the game is not installed on that 870, it's on a m.2 with high transfer speeds. Any suggestions? I've tried updating drivers, forcing updates, the baboon launcher. I'm out of ideas to fix this and it's getting pretty annoying. GPU usage is fine in other games, and I tried to run Black Desert Online on remastered where it climbs to 100% and sounds like a fighter jet as it gets put to work. But on GTA it's like it's stuck below a forced preset.

It's an IC issue, if the crime rate wasn't equivilent to Tijuana, the response from business owners wouldn't be the same.

I think you should look at the statistics of people robbing vs the people being civillians and passive RPing. To a point it becomes Tijuana, which is why these extreme measures have to be put in.

Or, you know. Just add it in under the same flag as trace and problem is solved. My opinion is, that if people don't use /mask, they're not masked. It really has to stop with everything being difficult because of some people wanting to use a system and others not. Make it uniform, a mask command to be masked everywhere, including CCTV.

Let's get the national guard involved then, and put down a state of emergency. It'd be more beneficial to lower the crime rates.

You understand that is done to generate RP right? It's because the people are trying to be inclusive. Yes, transitions and compromises have been made, as I have myself been in the state parks as a corporal. But it was not what it was intended for, and the last thing we need is another primary agency that now wants to claim their piece of the land. If SAPR wants to be SAHP, then it's HP only, and dealing with traffic related incidents. No tactical team, no detectives. Then it still remains a niche, for those who want to do that type of RP.

SD easily offers that, no one forces deputies to go into LS. I myself spent majority of my time doing that till I made my way into SEB and retired into the DB.

Yes, another primary agency is a bad thing. Things are already not easy with two primary agencies that each operate in their own way, the last thing we need is a third one that also want all the same things as the two others. We have enough, if we need anything additional, it's niche roleplay to keep certain aspects of RP in check. Such as the IRS.

We have 2 tactical teams that cover the county. That's more than plenty, and yes there's plenty of negligence going on. But I was stating why there is so many unsolved crimes, not why we need more detectives. All it'll restult in is tensions as everyone will want the same case and not investigate the 800 dead end murders a day in Tijuana, Los Santos.

SAPR was created as a niche to deal with the parks. We got plenty of primary LEO's. If they can be made into a niche that doesn't respond to every house alarm, shooting and has their own SWAT team and detectives bureau, I wouldn't be against it. But if they want all those aforementioned. Join SD or PD.

A state protective agency that purely handles the wildlife stuff, health / safety stuff say construction site inspections W/E, fire related things ect. And there is a large reason most of these homicides are left untouched, because the tremendous amount of work you have to put into an investigation simply for someone to PK during a warrant execution and all of it being 'voided' because they were killed out of the situation. Those who are detectives know what I'm talking about, and that's both PD/SD side. We don't need more LEO's, what we need is maybe to look at what SAPR is missing to be provided with the roleplay. Do we need legislature that brings back the HAPA? Do we need buffs to hunting, as in what monetary value it generates to make it viable again. Do we need to consider the limit for fishing removed so SAPA actually gets content there? Most of the content for the faction exists. But it has been cucked behind stupid script walls of 'Oh you can't make more than X money' or behind tiny payments. Sort that? And you got plenty of content for them.

I think we already have more than plenty investigative units, for both gangs, major crimes and homicides. There's plenty of traffic units in SD and PD. I think Parks does what Parks does and if anything it should be merged under the SFM wing and made into a large state faction that focuses on those niche areas.

You'd be amazed by the amount of criminals who do something and then straight up deposit the cash, there is and probably never will be an entity stopping that.

The issue with Federal is that you need people who understand it, and also people who don't show up on random scenes going FBI - We're taking over and flopping their bigger **** around to have a power trip.

Last I tried dealing with financial crime as a detective, I got told it'd be unfair to seize 600k in assets that were proven to be from sales of firearms sooo. Doubt it.

I don't think you understand how hard it is to investigate gangs & OC with leaks and the on-going mentality of many factions being afraid to take an L and be investigated. It's an tremendous process, and hours upon hours have to be invested while everything can be spoiled by a leak, metagaming or otherwise OOC factors. Hence why investigators pick the factions they investigate based on RP and attitude.

Rest in peace, legend. Nothing beat waiting for the new Gymkhana's when you were younger. Specially the one in LA was epic and memorable.
