2-  ATC: Now, I'm pretty sure all of us, had their fair share of Air Traffic Control. One of the main reasons why we're having a shortage in ATC, is mostly due to the script. ATCs have no IG script other than /aatc, which they utilize to communicate with other aircrafts. But to guide these aircrafts, they must first: Tab out of the game, access the browser, launch the ATC page, and then tab back in, to relay the message, which generally takes a lot of time. ATCs will also struggle with identifying aircrafts, most of you, if not all. Access the RADAR page, the amount of parked aircrafts on there is crazy. ATCs can't tell who's where, because the departing plane is usually camouflaged by a 100 static vparked planes.

imho this should be the highest priority to be fixed. the chart should only display the vehicles that have been spawned and used in the past 12 hours, otherwise they should be vanished.

I have never done the pilot job, but if we remove the circles (I assume these are waypoints) are we at risk of pilots literally flying as the crow flies in a straight line?

The waypoints in themselves are doing the same thing, which has resulted in two crashes that got voided by the two players, render distance and the waypointer is one of more a disadvantage than an advantage. On the other hand, you've got ATC players that'll be up in the Tower, monitoring the radar, vectoring and deviating traffic to ensure a smooth and safe process.

how often are there players manning ATC? Maybe the way points could be toggled off when ATC has someone looking after it

That could work, but it'll still be stuck in point A, which is the automatic waypoints will lead people through the same trajectory at the same time, which could result in people crashing into other planes as they reach their destination. Tbh with you, people who apply for their pilot licenses, already know the trajectory to their destination. Needless to say, there's also airport and airfield charts that'll help them figure out which runway to land at etc.
