After years of being undermined by crime and social decay, sections of Downtown Vinewood and the Alta area have come far from the place people were once proud to call their home. Seemingly abandoned by the rich and famous, that ruled over the film industries. Instead they left behind a culture of drug abuse and overindulgence for this densely packed community of aspiring actors and artists, who were already struggling to provide for their families in their small, overpriced apartments. Under the vice of gang violence and mafia presence, dating as far back as the stars that made it in the sidewalk. Growing up in this multi-cultural melting pot meant most kids were exposed to local drunkards, prostitutes', and varying types of addicts.. Their influences practically being on every corner in the forms of clubs and bars. Stigmatized with the glamour and success assumed of their upbringing, this new generation of Vinewood youth is ready to seek out any means necessary to achieve it.

Love, Money, Murder, a mantra made way of life for a small group of Vinewood youth who claim to hold these three values close to heart. Denounced in the media as a bunch of "punks" by the local PD who first learned of the gang through their involvement in vandalism, disruption and physical assaults across the Vinewood strip. Their core membership consisting of eight key individuals and lesser known associates between the age of sixteen and twenty-five have a long list of criminal charges including evading and attempted murder. Though no official claims to turf has been established, graffiti from this crew can often be found all across the state, seemingly thrown up out of artistic taste rather than acts of war. With suspected ties to more established criminal organizations in the state including prison gangs, their involvement in debt collecting and targeted assaults has slowly raised to prominence alongside a growing credit card fraud operation. Though much is still to be seen from this aspiring crew of cutthroats.

As a group our goal is not to take over turf or become rich and powerful. Our main focus is on the portrayal of Vinewood youth struggling to get by. Creating fun, lasting stories in the community. Anyone interested in coming to RP with us can hopefully find us in the Vinewood area, but for those looking for more information or guidance on their character portrayal are welcome to message me @Cryptic

 

Though we hope to not have to use it, anyone seeking the permission to post on this thread and get involved with the group will be signing over CK rights. This is NOT to be used as a thumb over your characters and we would like to assure everyone the last thing we want is to kill off characters (even ones considered enemies).  The purpose for this is to protect our thread standards of character portrayal. Anyone who ends up CK'd will surely have a sense it's coming, and feel as though they've earned it with appropriate circumstances and portrayal.
