Because you need a script to roleplay. You can do all that without removing liquor stores.

Selling to liquor stores with zero RP is an outdated system that should be changed.  The current system is as bad as the old courier system where you just grind for money with no interaction.

 

If not to remove them, at least add in having to sell to a real person and RP making the deals. That way it is a player-run market rather than relying on a set script price when selling to an imaginary person at the liquor stores.

A small chain liquor store that you find in this game wouldn’t ever drop 300k for bottles either. Script wise or not. Current system is just an easy exploit to make money. It’s lazy and requires no RP.

For a brewer currently? Yes. This is why the OP has suggested a different way that would enhance the RP and provide additional methods to make money realistically by people who actually want to be a brewer, not just exploit the system to grind script money.

Yeah I get your point, but you need money though so how you gonna get that?

1) You get $200,000 to start. Use it wisely. 
 

2) Work at any number of jobs that hand out the government stipend or money earned through RP. Police, Fire rescue, Sheriffs Department, Mechanic shops, Coffee shops, 24/7, bars, security companies, used car dealers looking for marketing people, take your pick. Just because those options require actual interaction and you don’t like it, doesn’t mean they aren’t available to do. There are plenty of options to earn enough money to get by. 

 

The OP wants to turn the brewery system into something for people who actually want to RP being a brewer for the enjoyment of the job rather than a simple grind fest for people who want the easy way out for script money. I can’t see why that would in any way be a bad idea.

You still get the $200,000 to start. You also get $500 an hour from the system as well after the 40 hours.
 

Also why can’t an illegal RP’er have a regular job like a 24/7 or gas station or even a bartender? People IRL who have criminal records can still find work. It’s not like you’re 100% cutoff from the world, you’re just more limited with a record. Doesn’t keep you from working entirely.

 

Unless you’re an international arms dealer or huge drug cartel, you still should be going on with your life. You're still a regular person. The world doesn’t stop just because you’re into illegal RP lol. If you’re choosing to not work, then that’s your issue not anyone else. 
 

We’re digressing. You could also be an illegal brewer with the suggestions the OP is making. Doesn’t stop that at all. It just takes away the ability to skate by with no risk or no RP. You’d have to find connections through RP rather than exploiting an unrealistic script based system for the convenience of making quick money.
