Grove St, Davis erupted in sounds of sirens and fire alarms this evening as the Los Santos Police and the Fire Department responded to an incident at Grove. Within minutes the scene was locked down by heavily armed Los Santos Police responders and blocked all access to the area, setting up multiple barricades on the streets to prevent all access.

The Fire Department responded with a number of units, including two fire trucks and an ambulance, the ambulance was later dismissed, however. A number of Firefighters set up lines to contain the fire, and a while later, eventually entered the property wearing full SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) equipment. The use of the SCBA is to allow them to breathe in normally toxic air conditions.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown but the Fire Marshal's have been called in for an arson investigation. The Fire Department has taken control of the investigation and will work side by side with the Police. A police spokesperson also said there's no possible suspect, nor when the fire occurred. LSFD and LSPD did not release any data on victims or deceased subjects, citing "they don't release inaccurate data."

LSPD Spokesperson Nick Muller provided this statement to Los Santos News.

Quote

So, at this time the LSPD and LSFD have responded to a fire here on Grove Street, we are currently in Investigation for a possible Arson. At the moment, the Los Santos Fire Department has taken Command of the Investigation, and is currently working side by side with the Los Santos Police Department to determine the cause of the fire. Once the LSFD has completed the Investigation on there side, the LSPD will take over from there and continue to investigate, if any foul play is deemed within the scene. At this time, we have no current confirmation on who, what or how the fire happened, but crews from the Fire Department and Police Department are working to figure out that cause.
