Nervous Posted October 20, 2017 Share Posted October 20, 2017 (edited) It's been hell of a first week ! We reached more than 1000 users on forum, 1250 users on UCP, and 1000 users on Discord ! The first friday evening, 242 different players played on the server with a maximum of 150 connected (maximum slots). The launch was a great success thanks to all of you that participated in bringing your friends in, and to all the staff that worked hard during this week. Believe it or not, it was one of the longest week of my life as I feel that we've achieved months of work in a single week, here are few examples of new features that got added: Spike system for LSPD New tax system based on player feedbacks Speed limiter for vehicles Beauty salon Anticheat/Anti-AFK system Drugs effects Mask system Faction wages New vehicle system We focused on optimizing the server to reduce lags and crashes. While lags have been drastically reduced, crashes is still an issue due to GTMP and they are actively working on fixing it. Their next patch is focusing on fixing crashes and FPS drops. We are also discussing with their team while sharing our experimentations to decrease the crashes on our side: we'll deploy a new update today to once again try and decrease it. What's coming for the beginning of November ? Police roadblock system World furniture system - you'll be able to place furnitures outside with a specific permission, to promote small events Tattoo shop New character creation / Customization system Walking styles Character moods Break into vehicles DOC Faction and new prison script While these are our short list of features (aka it's coming really quicker than you think), medium list (November / Beginning of December) is the following: New money system : Introduction of clean and dirty cash, allowing players to use both for their trades. Dirty cash would have to be cleaned through businesses, which would also have a cash register and logs of all their income. This system will allow an advanced economy roleplay for illegal factions, give more importance to illegal businesses and increase legal roleplay with the addition of financial investigations. Properties upgrades: Alarms, locks Property robberies Scripted objects: Safes to put money / items in properties, TVs etc... Reworked ID system ... And your suggestions ! We already accepted more than 15 players suggestions that will be implemented during the next weeks ! The UCP also received daily updates, and the donation page will soon be available to unlock our premium status in order to support the server ! You can still pre-purchase WP and earn our early donator title until the end of the month ! On a final note, I would like to thank @CodenameTim and @Justus for their incredible work activity during this first week. The whole administration and testers team must also not be forgotten, but they will get their own thread in a few days with the promotions and new testers announcement !
