  1. Varrio Hang Out Boys 55 Varrio Hang Out Boys or 55 Hang Out Boys 13, also known as H.O.B or HOB is a predominantly Mexican-American criminal street gang located on the West Side of Vinewood Los Santos, San Andreas. The heart of their territory is at the intersection of Alta Street & Spanish Avenue. South of Vinewood Boulevard. They’re a smaller gang in comparison to their counterparts, but they’ve shown they're a force to be reckoned with. Their involvement in substantial gang-related activities backs this claim. 1986, Los Hang Out Boys In 1986, before Varrio Hang Out Boys existed, they were innocently enough, just a group of teenagers seeking camaraderie and friendship on the streets of Vinewood. The intersection of Alta Street & Spanish Avenue quickly turned into a hotbed for crime and gang related activities in Vinewood. Which subsequently the would-be Hang Out Boys fell victim to. Constantly targeted by local gang members and drug addicts, the Hang Out Boys found themselves falling victim to a world of violence. The turning point came when a fellow member named Minor was in a near-death situation with a local gang member from Street Villains 13 in a targeted attack, barely escaping with his life. Confused and enraged by the attack, the Hang Out Boys were fed up and wanted to retaliate after seeing their close friend get so close to death. A pivotal meeting was held following the incident, they made a decision to transform themselves from a group of teenagers into a formidable street gang. After shooting a few names back and forth, Hang Out Boys was officially off the ground and in the streets. Bombing walls, using homemade weaponry to retaliate on two neighboring gangs in the Vinewood area, HOB started getting their name in the streets. They sought out and vetted people they knew for recruitment. They turned to a local skateboarding crew that had often given them problems, and the Hang Out Boys convinced them to get on board with the program. 2009, Hang Out Boys & 55 Bunch As the years passed, the conflict between H.O.B. and various other gangs continued. Hang Out Boys never had many allies because they considered themselves formidable enough to stand their ground in the notoriously seedy Vinewood area despite their limited membership. However, they were often acquainted with the 55 Bunch Gang, also commonly known as Varrio 55th Street. This gang was known to be located in the 50s, a roughly nine to ten block distance away from the Hang Out Boys. They’ve frequently been reported to have similar rivals which could be the primary motivation behind their soon to be alliance. It is reported that in 2009, they participated in a combined attack on the Playboys 13 gang in West Vinewood, killing a member in retaliation for the death of a known rapper, as well as reputable gang member Lil Joker from 55 Bunch. The witness is said to be the fallen Playboys 13 member's girlfriend, and she identified three separate shooters, one from Hang Out Boys and two from 55 Bunch. Hang Out Boys also had to cope with a fierce turf dispute between themselves, 4-Pacc Gangster Crips, and the 41st Street Gang because they were all on top of each other. This was a long conflict in which both sides lost many members; despite this, HOB crushed the opposing forces. This is what they were known to do. It’s been said they’re low in numbers, but when it comes to wartime, or "playing ball" as some would describe it, they've always been the strategic type, aiming for reputable members from all sides. Some say the war between Hang Out Boys and 4-Pacc Gangster Crips, an alliance of several neighboring Gangster Crip gangs based in the 40s, was 10-2, with HOB leaving them at a devastating loss. For context, before the early 2000’s, the 41st Street Gang used to be a clique under Hang Out Boys. Something caused a split and divide within the gang causing 41st Street to break away from Hang Out Boys. Tension rose, and 41st Street made the first move. Jorge Ayala a/k/a Sleepy was a reputable HOB member. Early in the morning on September 10th 2009, Jorge was murdered by a known 41st Street member who went by the name of Lil P Boy. Lil P Boy was sentenced to life in prison in 2012. This was the catalyst to a gang war that has been going on for over ten years now. Since then, Varrio 41st hasn’t let up one bit. Hang Out Boys have been losing quite a few members over the years. Since the two were so close in proximity to each other in the gritty streets of Hawick, Hang Out Boys were bound to run across members of 55 Bunch along the way; They would soon grow acquainted while fighting the same enemies. It has been stated that they frequently appear in the same location, hanging out with one another and even taking on each other's beef from time to time. Their names started to show up together in hit-ups all throughout West Vinewood. The strengthening alliance between the two was reinforced after older members met to discuss what this meant for the future of Hang Out Boys 13 and 55 Bunch. They discussed similarities between the two, specifically their shared hatred for 41st Street and Playboys 13. Both sides recognized they didn't necessarily need one another but that they'd be powerful together. The new moniker “Varrio Hang Out Boys 55” was then stamped from that day forth. Present Day, Varrio Hang Out Boys 55 Today, Varrio Hang Out Boys 55 has a formidable presence in the streets of West Vinewood. They've adopted the CK, or Crip Killer mantra because of their continuous conflicts with neighboring Crip gangs, specifically Gangster Crips to this day. Outside of the realm of gang banging, they face an issue that might be bigger than banging itself, gentrification. While Vinewood is known for its bright lights and luxury atmosphere, generations of residents are being displaced, erased, and marginalized to maintain this image. The increased rent and evictions caused by gentrification destroy the essence of the community, displacing long-time residents and causing a socioeconomic shift. Families who have lived in Vinewood for generations find themselves priced out of their own neighborhoods, forced to relocate to cheaper areas further from their homes. Additionally, as businesses catering to wealthy patrons, they replace local shops and establishments in the process. Neighborhood landmarks, traditions, and histories are often erased or marginalized in favor of this sanitized image designed to appeal to high earners. This directly affected gangs like the Hang Out Boys who live in an area of Vinewood that's below poverty level. A number of members dealt with the effects of gentrification displacing many of them to areas like East Vinewood or even as far as El Burro and Rancho. A symptom of gentrification is an increase in police presence in said area. Police are often called by local residents who complain about minor issues like noise complaints or loud music. This increase of presence disproportionately affects minorities, specifically black and brown people. So while some people think they're improving a situation they're oftentimes making it much more difficult. On that account, the numbers Varrio Hang Out Boys 55 held previously during their prime from 1986 to 2009 have dwindled over the years. In order to survive financially and support their households, the Hang Outs had no choice but to adapt to their rapidly changing environment. A variety of members have been reported to be responsible for the recent high report of theft and larceny cases against naïve tourists and Los Santos transplants in the star-studded West Vinewood area. Despite going through the trials and tribulations the Hang Out Boys remain resilient and strong through their situation in order to survive.
  2. Florencia 13 is a gang with roots in South Central Los Santos dating back to the 1940s in the Florence-Firestone District, originally formed to protect it's own people from surrounding and much larger black gangs who used to target Mexican-American residents living in the area, now sports over 2,000 members with cliques all around South Central Los Santos, West Los Santos and multiple other counties. The gang got its name from the Spanish pronunciation of Florence, the main street the runs through a majority of the gangs turf and also the name of the song by the Paragon's that members often called in to radio stations to play to let people know Florencia members were posted up. Florencia adopted the 13 in the 1960s after gangs in Southern Los Santos began pledging their allegiance to the Mexican Mafia in growing numbers, the gang's main motives quickly shifted and saw them gradually grow in to one of the largest Sureno gangs in Los Santos. War With The East Coast Crips A beef that started over members of ECC running off on a drug deal turned in to a two decade long war between the two gangs that saw countless bodies dropped in the streets of Los Santos. After Arturo Castellanos, a shotcaller from Florencia, sent out a message that members or Florencia were to cleanse the area of the neighboring East Coast Crips, chaos embroiled South Central with bodies from both sides dropping weekly at certain points in the war, which came to an end in 2020 after shotcallers from both gangs brought their people together to call a truce. Operation Joker’s Wild A large investigation was underwent during the early 2000's, looking in to the gangs reputation of drug trafficking, extortion and racially motivated murders targeting gang affiliated and innocent black people in the area which resulted in 102 members of the gang being listed in indictments in 2007. 96 were eventually taken in to custody and as of 2009, 94 of those were charged with crimes ranging from drug trafficking to murder, the rest having either been convicted, plead guilty, fled the country or even died during the investigation. Present Day Modern Day Enemies Florencia's main rival until recently was the East Coast Crips however they've maintained several other beefs along the years, mainly with Playboys 13, 38 Street Gang and 18th Street, the gang had tension with a lot of Watt's varrios in the 1950's, however most of those gangs have now formed in to other gangs or have gone defunct but they continue to maintain their beef with newer sets, their most known being with the Grape Street Crips who didn't take a liking to Florencia trying to push in to the area and claim turf. Numbers within the gang continue to rise to the present day, currently being one of the 3 largest Mexican gangs in South Central Los Santos. Florencia 13 has undergone several gang injunctions over the years but due to how big the area their turf actually covers, the gang continues to function and recruit the youth in the area, often preying on those from rough upbringings or people in search of acceptance who are willing to do anything to fit in, knowing the area they grew up in puts a huge target on their backs. The infamous Charleston projects are home to the 85th Street Locos and the Gangster Lokas, two cliques whose numbers and structure have been shaken up by joint police efforts to curb gang violence. As of 2023, both Davis cliques are rumored to be led by veteran gang bangers from within different institutions of the San Andreas justice system. Some reports claim only reckless young teenagers and adults remain. OOC INFORMATION The goal of our faction is to portray a realistic depiction of the Florencia X3 gang in the Charleston Projects area; the main focus is deeply developing our characters and providing roleplay within the South Central area . We aim to run the faction transparently for every member with as little OOC involvement as possible. 3. Krazy Ass Mexicans 13 While Krazy Ass Mexicans started out as a small tagger crew involved in small and sometimes medium crimes, it instantly became known for its frightening and dangerous behavior. The crew was not afraid to associate in gunfights and other violent confrontations, making them a formidable force in the Los Santos criminal underworld. KAM's willingness to use violence as a means of achieving their goals made them feared by other gangs and law enforcement agencies alike. The crew's leaders were known for their ruthlessness, and members who failed to follow orders or were perceived as disloyal were often punished severely. As KAM's criminal network grew more sophisticated, the gang became involved in drug trafficking and other organized crimes. The gang's members were heavily armed and well-connected, making it difficult for law enforcement to penetrate their operations. Despite the risks involved in being part of KAM, many young people in the inner-city neighborhoods were drawn to the gang's power and sense of community. They saw the gang as a way to protect themselves and their families from the violence and chaos of their surroundings, and as a means of achieving financial success and respect. However, the dangers of being part of a street gang were ever-present. KAM members faced constant threats from rival gangs, and many were killed or imprisoned over the years. Additionally, the gang's criminal activities contributed to the cycle of poverty and violence in the community, perpetuating the same problems that it sought to address, during this time, KAM had gotten a noticeable presence within the Mexican Mafia, and many of the members put in work for them while inside of jail, this caused them to pick up the 13, and quit there ways as tag bangers, and be a fully-fledged sureno street gang. Nightmare in East LS On a Sunday night at Mirror Park, three Hispanic teens were thirsty for blood, the motive was clear and known. The young men were at Nikola Ave when they stopped behind a four-door gray car. Six guys were in the car. Jimenez saw the front passenger get out, and then he let off a bang, he shot him in the eye and in the back with pellets. Romero blasted gunshots and hit two of the passengers in the face and leg with pellets. Romero, Jimenez, and Moreno instantly drove to a "Trap House" near South Los Santos, where someone gave officers a tip that's where they were. Officers arrived at the scene of the shooting about five minutes after it occurred. Over thirty shell casings were found in the well-lit area. Other officers went to the stash house over in South Los, and the teenage boys were arrested there on the scene. Knowledge to why this happened was due to rivalry with both of the gangs. Tyler Carrilo, one of the victims who were killed in the traffic shooting was involved with the street gang Big Hazard, a gang who is known to feud with Krazy Ass Mexicans 13, he was a known target to the gang, and kicked down a candle memorial of theirs, the video was posted on Instagram and will not be posted here. Tyler Carrilo knocked down a deceased known Krazy Ass Mexicans Members candles and photos, and then decided to urinate on the grave, all being posted on Instagram. The trio all snitched on themselves and the people who put them up to it, Romero gave knowledge that they had ghost guns, and there OG Hector Vasquez gave them the pistols, and put them up to the hit. The teens are serving 18 years inside of Bollingbroke Penitentiary and have no chance for parole. The mothers and fathers of the four victims who died were outraged, most of them have gone on to make gang fundraisers, and three of them even attended the murderers court hearings, this shooting caused the spark of more terror inside of East LS, making many residents move out, and many people to not even visit there anymore. Rivals and Allies The KAM13 gang has a ton of rivals, with very small allies. Being set up in East Los Santos gave them a lot of Hispanic Enemies, and also made them tolerate a strict Ni**** killer card, most of them say it's because you have to stick with your own, and others say it's because they mess with various white supremacist gangs or copying the Mexican Mafias situation with the Aryans. However, even though they're pushing NK, this doesn't stop them from doing business with blacks, or trying to make a quick buck off of them. This gang's only allies are known to be the Mexican Mafia, and KAM constantly pays tax to them while being under the 13. This alliance happened when most of the original tagger crew was in jail and had to put in work while inside of there, and also there noticeable presence around East Los Santos and the criminal underworld, they've been clicked up with many other sureno gangs, and most of them had put good words in for KAM before they turned into a gang, constant work inside the county and good words caused them to pick up the 13, and turn into a gang. The set is mainly hostile to any other gangs inside of there turfs, or even near them. This would cause many enemies within the East Los Santos community, and for KAM to be hated very much, with old sureno gangs coming back to life within the area, KAM has become a neutral level with most of them, barely interacting with any of them. The gang has only three known clicks, which is the Fronstreet Nikolaz, Tiny Kamstas, and the 12th street Bagos click, two of these clicks weren't made by members, and they were forced to be a part of KAM. The Fronstreet Nikolaz and Tiny Kamstas were both originally groups of Hispanic Teens fucking around, tagging up walls, selling drugs, and eventually they got on KAM's radar, and were instantly picked up by them, if they didn't get involved with KAM, it might've been bloodshed between the two, and many parents would be crying that summer.
