  1. OOC INFO: This is going to follow the development of two Mexican Immigrants and their journey in America, this screenshot gallery will showcase the Role-Play of @BuckShots @C0RNN1BS In the Paisa Alliance.
  2. Adrián Montenegro From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Adrián Carlos Montenegro (born October 24, 2001), also known as "El Lupo" (Italian: the wolf) was a reputed Cuban-American drug trafficker active in Los Santos during the early 2020s. He was allegedly an associate of a Mexican drug trafficking cell in southern San Andreas, under Ezequiel "Whisper" Medina, leader of the Paisa Alliance. Adrián was allegedly a notable fentanyl distributor in Los Santos, following his discharge from the United States Marine Corps in 2021. Montenegro was last spotted alive on June 2, 2023 according to CCTV footage from a 24/7 store on the Great Ocean Highway. It is believed he was murdered by his criminal associates, though some organized crime theorists believe he fled to Mexico. Biography Adrián Montenegro was born in Havana, Cuba to Carlos and Valeria Montenegro. According to records from the Havana police, Carlos was involved with a Cuban drug trafficking cell during the 2000s, under Santiago "El Zumbón" Salazar (d. 2011). Carlos was later slain in 2008 by the organization, and Adrián and Valeria fled to the United States as illegal immigrants. They later obtained green cards. Adrián and his mother initially lived in East Beach, Los Santos before settling in the heavily Hispanic neighborhood of Rancho, where he attended high school. During his time in school, he worked at the Tool Shed, a hardware store in West Vinewood managed by his cousin, Vanessa. He graduated with a diploma in 2019 and joined the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marines, Adrián was assigned to the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion, as part of Task Force 211. His unit was stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. It is believed that after Adrián returned from his deployment, he became associated with the Paisa Alliance, working primarily alongside Ezequiel "Whisper" Medina and "Culebra", an unidentified major drug trafficker in Los Santos (referenced during the trial of Dominic "The Blonde" Civella, an alleged member of the Martorano crime family.) From 2021 to the summer of 2023, Adrián was allegedly responsible for the distribution of fentanyl and cocaine as part of the Mexican narcotrafficking ring operated by Whisper. For much of 2022, Adrián operated in Phoenix, Arizona. He returned to Los Santos later in the year. Throughout his tenure as a drug trafficker, Adrián maintained legal employment at the Tool Shed, and the Panaderia La Camilita restaurant in Morningwood. Disappearance Adrián Montenegro was last spotted buying coffee at a 24/7 convenience store on the Great Ocean Highway near Los Santos, on the morning of June 2, 2023. It is unknown what became of him after that, though independent crime researchers suggest he was murdered by the Paisa Alliance, or a rival organization. Other investigators suggest Adrián could have faked his own death and fled to Mexico, where he has family in the state of Sinaloa. He could've fled due to heat from law enforcement, or from tension within his organization. As of the present day, Adrián or his remains have not been located, and no witnesses have come forth to shed light on his disappearance. References 1. ^ Sol Prendido, (March 24, 2022). 3. This thread follows the life of a Hondureña living in the City of Saints. Marixa Sandres (a/k/a La Muñeca) is a Honduran that moved to Los Santos when she was 13 years old, away from her original home in San Pedro Sula (a place known for its shocking levels of crime). During Marixa's upbringing in this terrible and ruthless environment, she saw things that would stay with her forever. Whether it was witnessing innocent people being shot or stabbed right in front of her, or hearing about girls getting raped; all of these things and more have had a deep psychological impact on her. Extreme poverty, gang violence, corruption, along with much more; life in this area of Honduras (especially the Rivera Hernández neighborhood) is bleak and unforgiving. The Vanishing of Idalia Sandres The true horror came when Marixa's older sister Idalia went missing. Many signs pointed towards it being a kidnapping, but sadly the young girl was never found; this caused a heavy cloud of depression to hang over the missing girl's family. It's entirely possible but unlikely that Idalia may still be alive, but no one knows for sure. She's one of many from San Pedro Sula that have simply vanished, leaving no trace of what could have possibly happened. Marixa's older brother Nahun (14 at the time) was convinced the local Los Tercereños—a much smaller gang compared to the rest in the area—was somehow responsible for the disappearance of his sister. At this point, him and Marixa were already engaging in some petty crime, mainly due to just how poor they were. From robbing and selling anything they could get their hands on, the duo was able to make enough cash to eventually buy a revolver from an illegal arms dealer. Their secret reason for wanting to get a gun was to carry out revenge on someone they'd been watching and thought might be possibly linked to the vanishing of Idalia. They didn't buy from the dealer directly, though. Many of Marixa and Nahun's relatives were already in a life of crime or were affiliated with a certain gang, meaning they could quite easily get one of them to help. Unsurprisingly, their father Adelmo, a/k/a El Gallito, was also connected to a criminal organization (named The Collectors, a/k/a Los Coleccionistas). This particular Honduran cartel cell was established in San Diego, but also eventually started to have a presence in Los Santos, San Andreas. He joined the group in 1991 after illegally migrating there one year before, but was deported back to his original Honduras homeland in 1996. The following year was when he met his future wife Rosibel and had several kids. Marixa's mother was the total opposite of the loud, usually drunk Adelmo. The parents were totally unaware of the serious crime their son and daughter were secretly planning. They were certain Los Tercereños had something to do with it, but they were more focused on one of the teenager affiliates connected to the drug gang; their target was Rolando Oyuela, a/k/a El Malo. The day they decided to execute their poorly organized plan came soon after acquiring a revolver handgun. Marixa—who was 13 at the time—was able to trick El Malo into making him think she wanted to buy weed, and also pretended she forgot to bring the money with her. He foolishly accepted that he would follow her whilst she headed back to collect the cash late into the night, unaware of the trap he was about to be entering. The brother and sister were deep into it now, and there was no turning back from whatever was about to go down. As soon as she was close to the abandoned building that was going to be used, Nahun came out of the shadows with his weapon drawn, held shakily and with fear. Marixa was then responsible for patting him down, searching for anything that could be used against them; on him were a few baggies of meth, along with a Colt pistol. They questioned him, using threats of violence if he dared to answer with lies. A confession eventually spilled out of El Malo's mouth, explaining how he and several other Los Tercereños gangsters kidnapped their sister Idalia on the night she never returned home. In some sort of sadistic and proud manner, El Malo then described how she was tortured and eventually killed, not seeming to show any fear of what was about to happen to him. Perhaps he didn't think the brother and sister would go through with it, but he was wrong. Out of pure shock, anger, and disgust, Marixa suddenly used her enemy's own weapon against him. Bullets filled 17-year-old Rolando Oyuela's chest, watching him drop to the floor and sink into a puddle of his own blood. The brother stood there with his aim still locked onto El Malo, but he just couldn't seem to pull the trigger; he just stood there petrified. The two of them rushed away from the scene of the crime to make a quick escape. It wasn't long until their father found out about what went down that night; he saw how his son and daughter changed since the murder took place. It was obvious to him. Los Tercereños were also getting closer to finding out the truth and wanted to viciously kill anyone that was somehow connected to the murder of Rolando Oyuela. Their father Adelmo had to make a choice, and he knew deep down that him and the rest of his family would never stand a chance if they were caught by the drug gang. Getting the hell out of San Pedro Sula was their only option, and it was something they were already considering before the killing happened anyway. Adelmo's affiliation with Los Coleccionistas (LCS) in Los Santos would prove useful in getting some help to illegally migrate back into San Andreas. Still, it was a long and tiring journey. Luckily, Adelmo's respect from his previous years in Los Santos working for LCS meant him and his family were able to find a place to stay, and also allow the father to start earning money right away. The family had to stay under the radar as much as possible, and LCS proved extremely useful in aiding with that. But, of course, Adelmo had to also fully devote himself to working for The Collectors, doing anything and everything he was asked to do. If this meant attacking someone, murdering, disposing of a body, collecting extortion money, cooking methamphetamine, and so on, then he would have to. As long as his family was safe and he could provide for them, he'd do it. Anything was better than living in that hellhole known as San Pedro Sula. From One Gang-Infested City to Another The adjustment to living in LS came as quite a shock to Marixa at first, even though it would feel far safer and less chaotic. Luckily for her, she was surrounded by fellow Hondurans and various other Hispanic ethnicities (mostly people from Central America), so it never felt like she was alone. Her biggest difficulty was learning English; this didn't happen quickly at all. She started to abuse drugs like weed and alcohol around the age of 15, mainly due to the dreadful post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms she was suffering from; the face of Rolando Oyuela haunted her dreams. Many of the younger Hondurans, Mexicans, and Salvadorans she knew in West Vinewood at the time seemed to represent a local street gang calling themselves Barrio Maníacos (BMS). She later found out that this clique was aligned and allied with the same criminal organization her father was affiliated with, Los Coleccionistas, and also had territory in the Vespucci area. They beefed with gangs such as Del Perro 13, Barrio 18th Street, MS-13, Vespucci Shoreline Crips, and the Culver City Boys 13. Her experimenting with drugs only made her more depressed, angry, and confused. Like many troubled Hispanic youths in Los Santos, Marixa turned to gang culture as an outlet for her emotions. Her brother, on the other hand, did not. Even with everything he's experienced in his fucked up past, he managed to stay away from the gang lifestyle; his sister just couldn't keep herself away from it, though. She knew she was capable of killing someone, and that feeling scared her as well as made her feel powerful. Before even turning 16, Marixa earned herself the street name "Speedy" (that would actually change in the future) and joined BMS. She earned her affiliation by murdering a gang member from the Mara Salvatrucha, defending territory claimed by Barrio Maníacos. The killing sparked off a fierce gang war between the two, lasting for several years, with bloodshed spilled on both sides. Her particular "barrio" was considered much smaller in size compared to the other surrounding hoods that the Maníacos beefed with. Their smaller membership meant they had to operate in a much more low-key and organized fashion. Due to the number of rivals they'd built up, along with a heavy amount of pressure from law enforcement, the predominantly Honduran street gang was forced underground. Police investigations and crackdowns caused a massive shift in how active they were; many of its high-ranking and important affiliates were put behind bars for crimes such as extortion, theft, assault, murder, and kidnapping. BMS never truly recovered and still operates in a heavily defunct state, though still seems to engage in occasional tag-banging (primarily in the Vespucci Canals). Many members that didn't get picked up by the LSPD were recruited into the transcontinental criminal organization Los Coleccionistas, used to actively distribute narcotics, launder money, transport money, smuggle people into the United States, and smuggle weapons back to Mexico or Central America. Speedy also joined at the age of 18. Life of a Sicaria / The Arrest of El Brujo During her first year of involvement with The Collectors, Marixa also had to deal with the death of her father after he was involved in a deadly car crash; he was driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs whilst attempting to escape a police chase. The crash site was located in the neighborhood of Little Seoul, just by Decker Park. Losing her older sister and now Adelmo made Marixa spiral out of control with her substance abuse, regularly resorting to the use of alcohol or cocaine (something she still struggles with today). Because of her willingness to kill, proven by the several murders she'd been involved with in the past, she was trained and given the designated role of a sicaria (hired assassin in Spanish) within the organization. She was part of a hit squad that was utilized when a particular target needed to be handled, or when intel needed to be gathered on them. Other responsibilities included providing security, disposing of dead bodies, and ensuring certain perimeters were secure from unwanted attention. There were also plenty of tasks unrelated to being a sicaria that had to be done, typically revolving around drugs. Whilst working for the organization, she went under a new alias called "La Muñeca" (The Doll) because of her attractive appearance and interest in fashion. Since her father El Gallito was such a high-ranking member before his sudden passing, Marixa was expected to reach similar heights of respect and power. Unfortunately for her though, she got involved with Los Coleccionistas at quite a late point since its creation in San Diego. She was very unaware of what was just around the corner. Everything changed with the arrest of Marcus Álvarez Ocampo, a/k/a El Brujo, the leader of LCS. He was later sentenced to over 17 years on January 27, 2022, for drug trafficking. With the leader behind bars, it wasn't long until the small cartel cell disbanded and became defunct.
  4. Thread follows the criminal endeavors of people involved with a U.S.A based group affiliated with Mexican Transnational Organized Crime. In order to get involved with the roleplay, you'll need to approach in character; whether it be internally within The Paisa Alliance or you somehow get connected to the group in character. Under any circumstance we will not be allowing anyone to join the group out of nowhere as well, you'll be expected to rigorously follow realistic character development. To add onto it, although approaching in character is relatively the only best way to join; the group might not always be open to recruitment in character and sometimes might refuse to bring in people into the inner circle for various in character reasons. If this happens, don't let it demotivate you from trying to be recognized and brought in eventually; effort's always rewarded in the end.
