It's 2pm and sunny outside but IG it's already dark out, It's never going to perfectly align with everyone, I think we need to let this idea go. The in-game year situation didn't occur to me, but maybe leave the changing of calendar days to 24 hours (so each date change is tied to two IG day/night cycles.) I just want to have the option of RPing on the beach without it being pitch black out. Like PLEASE, there's got to be a way to make it work so you can experience day/night regardless of your timezone.

I meant to post this in general discussions, but I had two tabs open. I'm sure an admin can move it. Even with an hour difference, the problem still persists. I just feel like 11 hours worth of RP shouldn't all be night time RP.

I remember there being talks about this earlier in the server's life but I'd like to reopen the discussion on the topic and see where people's opinions stand now. As a filthy American, the hours in which I'm active, 12p.m. through about 11p.m. MST, are entirely night (just turning dark around when I tend to get on). I understand why one would like to follow a realistic time cycle on a heavy RP server, but what ends up happening is the entire 11 hour block in which me & fellow NA friends play during is night time. Just from a perspective of gameplay enjoyment/opportunity, it would be fantastic if those on a different time cycle could experience both day time/night time. Maybe a potential solution would be a 12 hour day-night cycle so there's better opportunity to have roleplay in both environments. I like to keep my game dark during the night times for realism purposes but I feel like there's no point when it's always dark when I play as it just becomes a nuisance/annoying to work with. It just feels weird/unrealistic to be doing certain things during the night, like beach parties, fishing, etc. Even just for RP threads, having all of your RP take place at night isn't super fantastic. I'm hoping others feel similar, but either way I'd like to hear where everyone stands on this feature.
