I'll keep it real, I don't think much of security roleplay. Unfortunately, the poor roleplay I've seen from the few security guard roleplayers I've encountered left a sour ass taste in my mouth. My character caught two security guards erasing a gang tag that he did (Leaving out the fact that it's highly unrealistic for two security guys to be erasing graffiti, that's a city worker's job), when confronted about it, they didn't roleplay a thing and instead just finished removing the tag scriptly and left with 0 interaction or acknowledgment that they were being spoken to IC. Another time, a security guard ordered a hit on my character and paid a bunch of random gang members to shoot him. Aand the third time, I was in a faction in South LS and two security guards (who were rping british) started doing drifts and other forms of disruptive driving while yelling at us in british slang, and ended up kidnapping a random teenager from the area and shooting her because a completely different teenager tried to pickpocket them. I hope these types are just some very poor roleplayers that I had the misfortune of coming across, and not the norm as far as security guard rpers go.

I cope by using a little thing that I like to call suspension of disbelief.

Nah. It's been said time and time again, minors are needed in street gangs for recruitment and development purposes.

Imagine going to a gang's block, provoking a bunch of teenage thugs and being surprised that they aren't scared of you and instead dance on your head. 🤣

It's a fact, though. Go find any Outlaw MC irl and ask them if they allow women to join their club as anything other than a club member's girlfriend or wife, they'll tell u exactly what I just told u, women don't get into outlaw motorcycle gangs. They become a member's girlfriend or wife and are thus considered property of that MC member. Because that's the fact of the matter. Outlaw (1%) Motorcycle Clubs are a male-dominated culture. They're very sexist most of the time and generally don't allow women in to their clubs.

The fact that you immediately thought about sex work says enough about how much you know about what I'm talking about. I meant dirty work as in illegal activity lol, which is something bikers take very seriously. you think some biker who's already being watched by all types of government agencies is gonna start tryna recruit kids into his organized crime group disguised as a biker club? When I was 15-17. like the majority of kids my age, I ran around with 15-17 year olds, I did things with other 15-17 year olds, I committed crimes with 15-17 year olds, I wasn't running around with 40 year old women who drive sports cars and bar hopping. Yes. Because on this server, much of the gang violence takes place between young characters, it's not like people's 30+ year old characters are running around shooting kids, it's kids shooting kids and selling drugs to other kids, just like it is in real life. Biker factions do not count as street gangs, because they're not street gangs, the admins who told you that they are street gangs was severely misinformed. And again, bikers don't recruit women, so joining them IC as a little girl makes absolutely no sense and is borderline weird considering the culture that bikers have IRL around women.

That's an exception, not the norm. All of the bikers I know in real life don't like being around kids, let alone getting them involved n their dirty work. not even gonna bring up the fact that tryna join a biker gang as a female char is just completely unrealistic, bikers don't recruit women. they become property of a certain member and that's that. Who's gonna make a 14 year old char their property? I'm not about to run around asking people to rp family members that already exist ICly. My character has an npced mother, several npced sisters, and an npced uncle, and i'm happy with having that, I see no reason to have an actual character roleplaying my character's family member just to keep my character from a situation that I have absolutely no intention or desire to roleplay. You can have wholesome roleplay without roleplaying a child who runs around with adults who drive sports cars. they already get filtered out with the restriction of only having minor characters where they're absolutely needed, in street gangs.

And no, i'm not allowing my gang member character who's 17 and has NPCed parents to be adopted by some random, I will dead refuse to roleplay with whoever "adopts" my character, might even murder them IC tbh.

Minors should only be roleplayed by people who roleplay in street gangs. They're the only ones who have a reason to. In your case, it doesn't make sense for a 14 year old to be running around with middle-aged bikers. Bikers aren't street gang members, they don't recruit kids. If I at 14 pulled up and tried to hang out with a bunch of hell's angels, they'd more than likely have told me to scram. Bikers don't run around with kids.

Seriously. I swear the people who seem to have the most to say either have very laughable careers in illegal rp (joining trash factions, rping solo criminals for like a week, or something tiny like that) or they've never done criminal rp, ever. But they for some reason think they're somehow allowed to just talk about the entirety of criminal roleplay like they've even roleplayed with half of the illegal scene. If you've never roleplayed in a proper, realistic illegal faction, just shut up honestly.
