  1. This sounds great! :o This suggestion is now redundant. :o
  2. EDIT: IDEA NOW ALREADY IN GAME The current process is as follows: 1) Applicants apply on the forums for a concealed carry permit. 2) If they are accepted, they are sent to the PD lobby where the license is issued in person. The second stage of this process is extremely frustrating because PD licensing officers often aren't available and the roleplay itself isn't interesting, challenging or realistic. (This isn't the fault of licensing officers, it's just the nature of the roleplay.) If roleplay is frustrating, dull and unrealistic then we should try to avoid it. I suggest that any officer of a certain rank should be able to approve people's licenses without having to be in their vicinity. In character, the license will be mailed to the address on the applicant's application forum. This will be much less frustrating for all parties involved, and as realistic (if not more) than the current system.
  3. this is extremely white and incredibly comradely.
  4. You can put your seat belt on while simultaneously driving in real life. People (including me) do it all the time. The car doesnt stall the moment you take your hand off the steering wheel. Speaking of 'the game's features': you fly through a window if desync happens to get you - this is extremely unrealistic and a good reason for the seatbelt to be on by default.
  5. Week one and a seatbelt enthusiast is already telling people who disagree with them to leave the server. Get a hold of yourself. This is so basic: I'm saying the seat belt should be on by default, the same way your character reloads an empty weapon by default or pushes open certain doors by default. It streamlines the game. We simulate some parts of the game, but other areas are sped up for enjoyment's sake; getting a driving license doesn't take six months of lessons and a bunch of paperwork. At the very least, having it on by default will stop people being murdered by desync.
  6. This is your argument: If it doesn't take long and it's realistic then we should do it. The logical conclusion is people having to type /piss twice a day (because 'it doesn't take long it's realistic') and if you don't then it's your fault your bladder exploded. Why are you desperate for this game to become so needlessly tedious? Having your character go to the toilet three times a day doesn't make you a good roleplayer.
  7. Let's add commands for teeth brushing, shaving, pissing and shitting so JoeWarner's incredibly tedious roleplay vision can be realised.
  8. I think the features of /sb should be switched on by default. Nobody's arguing that seat belts aren't useful, it's just that having to type a command when the process could be automated is tedious. Taking a shit is useful because it stops your stomach exploding, but we don't have a /shit command.
