  1. I unfortunately cannot speak to what I don't know about with regards to an apartment block in K-Town. What I can on comment is, I fully agree that apartment blocks get broken into all the time IRL however it's far less common in buildings/complexes that have somewhat decent security installed. It poses far too much risk for reward unless you've been casing the building and it's inhabitants for a while. As someone who stays in a similar complex as explained above IRL, in the years I've been staying here, I have not once been robbed or mugged. (Risk for reward is too high.) The reason to implement this in certain complexes is to ensure things remain fair both on a criminals side, as well as a resident who may not /want/ to get robbed 3 times a week even when hundreds of thousands have likely been spent on security IC... ect. You don't have to agree with this suggestion, however I do ask that it's at least considered from a residents perspective, who can pretty much get robbed and mugged in like 90% of the map space that there is a least some peace of mind when going down to the lobby you'll not be ambushed by robbers waiting on people to come down.
  2. What is the suggestion? Allow certain mapped apartment complexes to be considered Restricted Crime Zones. This means that any muggings and/or robberies would require admin approval/intervention to occur. What is the reason for this? As a resident of one the player owner/run complexes, I believe this bring a unique aspect to the server that hasn't really been done until fairly recently. The owner has taken a lot of time and effort to provide and create a setting for role-play to occur. Be it meeting a neighbour in a lobby, or even meeting them in a shared gym or other facility provided by the building. Now being a resident in one of these complexes, I've personally directly been in three separate incidents with in five days... All with the aim of robbing or otherwise performing highly illegal activities. Now I just want to add, that I can take a loss. I will happily give up my time and items and whatever else to provide any criminal with a fair robbery... HOWEVER this is two fold, while I don't mind an incident here and there, at a certain point it feels more like we're just supplying the illegal market like cattle, it gets to a point where I would rather sit in my assigned unit doing random animations rather than making use of the facilities provided. To further expand on the core suggestion, the complex I reside in has paid an arm and a leg on security (G6), CCTV is mapped, many law enforcement characters call the complex home. I as a criminal (hypothetically), I would rather not target such a building as you never know who you may or may not run into, and while one could make the argument that security should be present then... That would naturally be the case from a realism point of view, however this is a game and anyone who role-plays as security also needs to live their lives IRL. P.S. Please refrain from any of the whole "us vs them" arguments. This is not what the suggestion is about, but rather allowing player owned complexes to flourish like any other player owned business.
