  1. Los Santos News Writer: Callie Palencia Date of writing: 08/JAN/2020 Part two of our investigation into G6's antics over the past week has uncovered a treasure trove of new information on the former G6 Executive, Richard Hampton. LSN sources exclusively revealed to us last week that he was arrested, now after a Freedom of Information Request, the LSPD handed over the arrest records of Richard Hampton who pleaded guilty to 4 charges. LSN was provided this information by a unknown Facebrowser account who provided us detailed accounts of what he had done which was later confirmed via a FOI request in which Richard Hampton was charged with MC 215 Fraud, MC 214 Forgery, FC 109 Tampering with Evidence and FC 113. Obstruction of Public Duty. Richard Hampton knowingly and intentionally delayed the LSPD when he was arrested and had forged documents on him, this begs the question of why the LS Government still works with a shady corporation like G6. This is the opening of a treasure trove of information as we're unsure of what else he's lied about. The LS Government continues to remain silent on the issues of G6 and multiple people have spoken out against G6 as a whole, including a LS Jewish Community announced a protest at the G6 HQ today at 6:00 PM. Details on the protest can be located:
  2. Los Santos News Writer: Callie Palencia Date of writing: 02/JAN/2020 Preface: Article was delayed due to unforeseen issues Los Santos News Sources has revealed to us that Richard Hampton, the current Chief Executive Officer of Gruppe 6 Security, the leading security company within Los Santos with security contracts with the Los Santos Government has been arrested a few days ago. The exact circumstances surrounding his arrest is yet to be revealed, LSN has reached out to Richard Hampton for official comments on the matter. But we don't think he'll respond since he's in jail. According to LSC (Los Santos Court) digital records Richard has yet to be arraigned at the Los Santos Court. LSNN was able to learn that G6 security has been sold onto another member of G6, Barry Bogan, who will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. G6 repeatedly declined to comment on why Richard was arrested, nor did they comment on the future of G6. LSNN has reached out to the LS Government for comment on if they'll continue to work with G6 in the future. This isn't the first time a G6 member has been in trouble with the law, Daniella Hazelton was arrested for a SHAFT code violation a week ago, but the charges was ultimately dismissed. Case Ref: (State of San Andreas v. Daniella Hazelton) Gruppe 6 offers multiple tiers of services, ranging from business security to to bodyguard services, even private security details for the Los Santos Government. This is slowly becoming part and parcel of the security industry in Los Santos, dating back several months many high profile arrests was made of a Executive Security staffs for felony charges, all which was found guilty. While conducting background checks for this story, LSN confirmed that all of Executive Security staff has passed background checks. we're currently in the process of verifying G6 has the same standards. 5. Writer: Callie Palencia Date of writing: 24/JAN/2020 Please note, this article may contain strong language and it contains factual evidence, a editors opinion will be provided at the bottom with a clear indication. Let's look at the legal side of free speech Neo Nazis, White Supremacists or even White Nationalists as they go by often have always had a foothold in Los Santos, especially around Vespucci and the things that they do is in fact legal, but the recent violence in Vespucci Canals is nothing but driven by hatred of majority black ethnic communities. So what exactly is the problem here you may think? The racism, hate, violence? We think it's a combination of all three. While they can lawfully express their opinions, its when violence gets involved it becomes unlawful. A lot of people think that White Supremacists shouldn't belong in Los Santos, that's a point we disagree on, they, as everyone have the First Amendment right to publicly express racist, offensive or even very unpopular views, but that's the fun part of the First Amendment. This has been ruled multiple times by the Supreme Court that laws attempting to criminalize hate speech violates the First Amendment. Due to this, multiple landmark rulings have typically covered as long as there's no imminent lawless disorder. With this, the things they do and say, generally falls under the First Amendment right, as long as it does not call for imminent lawless disorder (Brandenburg v. Ohio) ACLU has some great sources on it and I do recommend giving it a read if you're free. A discussion with the locals of Vespucci. We reached out to a prominent local Malikai Vance about the recent violence in Vespucci and we sat down with him for a chat. Vance came from Vice City and flew out to Los Santos to flip the community with nothing but love, he envisioned a community together with his hosted Beach Parties but had ran into numerous problems with the recent White Nationalists with strong violence towards their ethnic group. He goes on to say they brought weapons ranging from firearms, bats, hammers, whatever they had their hands on. Vance continued to say that they was being discriminated against for being black and was often called 'niggers' by the White Nationalists. The Los Santos Police made 5 arrests that day, including Vance for undisclosed crimes Vance and his associates still face racial abuse by the White Nationalists and some of them even are too scared to work at their day jobs, fearing violence or even death. They go on to accuse the LSPD of not doing enough to keep themselves safe nor ever did the Los Santos Police ever contact Vance after the violent incident. With closing remarks Vance stated that he's concerned to even live in Vespucci due to his skin color and they still fear active violence against them. The two individuals with Vance declined to be identified. Personal Remarks While I have yet to see the problems or violence from the Nationalists, I'm at a loss on what to think, Yes, the universal opinion is "nazi bad, you like nazi, your a nazi" but the problem I see is two fold, sure, we wont always get along but the fact of the matter is this. People can share their own views as they want, as it's enshrined within the First Amendment, it has been battled repeatedly in the Supreme Court and it has ALWAYS been ruled in the First Amendment. So regardless of opinions, sure they're not nice things, but we can't stop them from saying such things. It's the rule of law, end of. But is it a problem? Kind of, yes? It's your opinion. It's not a law. The Los Santos Police was contacted for comments and a spokesperson provided this statement. [IF YOU WISH TO PURCHASE AN ADVERTISEMENT, CONTACT CALLIE ON FACEBROWSER]
  6. Los Santos News Network reached out to the Los Santos Fire Department to discuss a few range of topics from the newly appointed Fire Chief, to recruitment drives and events planned for the year, a huge thank you goes out to Isabella Caras and newly appointed Fire Chief Isaac Hunter for being open with the press. Fire Chief Ever since the recent management changes within the Fire Department, Deputy Chief Lionheart resigned from his duties a few days ago and we asked Director of Public Relations Isabella Caras for a discussion about it. Callie Palencia: As I've heard in person that Deputy-Chief Lionheart has resigned, has the LSFD appointed a new Fire Chief in his position? Isabella Caras: Assistant Chief Lionheart has indeed resigned for personal reasons as to which respect for him I won't go into. As for the LSFD appointing a new Fire Chief that duty has landed on the amazing Issac Hunter who has done a wonderful job in all aspects and we are very excited to see what he has planned for all of us. We moved onto the topics of Recruitment and the Fire Departments plans for the year. Recruitment Callie Palencia: Do you hope on hiring civilian positions soon, also, do you plan on returning BLS classes? As we can tell, they're closed. Isabella Caras: Right now in the LSFD there has been talks about opening recruitment to civilians for certain positions especially in public relations as to when these will be made available I am unsure of just yet, and the civilian BLS classes were not technically removed they are just on hold at the moment due to some changes in the department but rest assured they will make a full return in the foreseeable future so all civilians are once again able to obtain their BLS certification. Events and the future Callie Palencia: What kind of events do you have planned for the coming weeks, and do you have any community outreach programs planned? Isabella Caras: We have a lot of amazing and wonderful events planned for 2020 so keep your eyes open it's going to very exciting times for sure, Things such as food drives, family day barbecues and youth safety programs that has been set up in the new community outreach program organised by our lovely Rudy McLemore. Isabella went on further to explain the Department's new Community Outreach Program Isabella Caras: Public Relations recently launched the Fire Department's Community Outreach Program that focuses on a multitude of fire safety initiatives with a strong emphasis on teaching the public safety protocols for the greater Los Santos communities.Through the program, we would directly confront the issues that have a grasp on our communities with our educational means. Along side our divisions, such as Training & Recruitment, we plan to host public safety events that allow the public to learn a specific skillset that can be beneficial in fire prevention as well as medical treatment. Such events should be launching in the coming weeks. Thanks to the assistance of Training & Recruitment, we already have public courses in development that are about to be implemented. Aside from the education factors, we also want to assist those in need through various fundraisers to help such families who need it most. With the idea in mind to build a strong relationship with the different communities in the city, we want to build an everlasting bond between the Fire Department and the citizens of Los Santos. Details of the Outreach Program: https://lsfd.gta.world/viewtopic.php?f=330&t=5677 The Fire Department is also planning on assisting local businesses with basic first aid classes Isabella Caras added in our interview with: Isabella Caras: Yes we will be helping local businesses to teach them first aid, they will be able to enlist under the regular civilian BLS program just like any other person and freely able to obtain their BLS certification and provide immediate and prompt medical care at their place of work mitigating any sort of consequences that injuries may have in the workplace while the LSFD is enroute. 8. The Los Santos Police Department have been embroiled in a month long legal fight in where they're accused of gross negligence by the plaintiff Andrew Baker. In the legal documentation submitted back in December the 10th, 2019, the Plaintiff (A. Baker) accused the LSPD SWAT team of gross negligence by quote "spraying down anyone within visible range" including himself, which he was protected by bullet resistant glass. The Plaintiff goes on to accuse the LSPD of not using reasonable care or caution when handling the breach of his Pawnshop. The document goes on further to accuse the LSPD of refusing to ask or answer any questions requested by Baker and quote "Simply walked out the property". Shortly after the documents was filed in the Superior Court of San Andreas, the Civil Division, Judge Juliet Pierce confirmed the case to be approved and legal action may proceed. The Plaintiff's legal team, Miles Hyde from Kerrigan and Associates and the Los Santos Police was defended by the District Attorney's Office, Lucas Lowe. The District Attorney's office submitted evidence into the court which contains a After Action METRO deployment at the Plaintiff's Pawn Shop. *PDF file is attached* ((If anyone has an issue with this file, you may DM me)) In the coming days the District Attorney's Office continued to argue that LSPD can't be held liable due to the SASI act of 2019, which is defined as: "Chapter 3, Section 301: (a) No government employee, agent or officer of the State of San Andreas may be held personally liable as a party defendant in any civil tort unless; (i) The employee acted neglectfully and disregarded local and federal law, and/or the employee acted in bad faith/or with malicious intent. (ii) The employee acted in a manner that disregards human rights and safety, and/or the employee acted in gross negligence. " The Plaintiff and the DA argued it out over the coming days before the judge ruled that the LSPD will be deemed liable until a Operator (LSPD METRO member) was found. A day later (3rd of January), the Judge submitted a subpoena to the Los Santos Police and required four Officers to attend the court and provide verbal / written testimony, in which was Claire Weiss, Aaron Colston, James McClaren and Zach Fusco. As of the time of writing this (10th of January) the Los Santos Police officers have yet to attend the court, or provide the written testimony. If the general public wishes to view the documents, they're HERE on PACER. LSNN has reached out to the Los Santos Police Department and Kerigan & Associates for comment on the ongoing litigation. Los Santos Police Department has issued a comment to LSNN Kerrigan & Associates declined to comment. Comments are OPEN.
