Why do we need OOC limits? Impose a yearly registration for cars like in real life. It's easy if you have 2 or 3 cars, but gets real expensive or annoying if you have more. If that's not enough, then you can go for more IC deterrents: oil changes (easy if you have 2 or 3, harder the more you have), yearly emissions testing (bonus of added RP). Limiting people OOCly is dumb. This is a heavy RP server. Just like in real life, if people can afford more, they will get more.

It should be up to your imagination, ideally. You could RP it being a news article, an auction, a classified listing, an online auction, whatever. I’m sorry if it looked like I was attacking people, I wasn’t. I just used examples and made a suggestion to encourage more roleplay in the forums. I don’t think anyone broke any rules. I remember in the days of SAMP roleplay, a lot of people would roleplay selling their cars on the forums as live auctions. So in the replies, people would describe their characters with a one liner and then make an offer. It doesn’t take too much effort. I try to roleplay as much as I can if I need to post on the forums. I don’t post often but you can see my post history, I feel like that’s not too bad. After all I assume we are all in this server because we enjoy roleplaying. Why not extend our fun to the forums’ IC section too?

Suggestion: Review the rules for the IC section to make it more realistic and of better roleplay quality. Examples: The IC section of the forum is a metagaming mess. For example, in the advertisement section, you have no idea if you're interacting with an online auction, a classifieds listing, or actually in a room with the person you're interacting with. Here are some examples: "Title says it" - how am I meant to roleplay interacting with this ad? Another one. I'm sorry to be calling out people like this, but this just feels like very low quality roleplay. I know there are no rules against it right now, so you can't necessarily fault any of those posts - what they're doing is not wrong, it's the rules that are not strict enough. This also extends to replies. You could have the most beautiful roleplayed listing or post in an IC forum and you'd get a random 2 word reply with no effort put in it.

The property owner can't evict tenants without a reason (mainly through legal action) in real life. Imagine signing a one year rent contract and your landlord evicting you after 2 months.

House Rental Contracts Short description: Have a system where the house renter can sign a contract with the tenant for a set period of time and can't evict the tenant until the contract is up. If the house is sold, it is sold with the contract. Detailed description: Right now, anyone can rent a house, for any amount, and can get evicted at any time. That's not how it works in real life and the tenant doesn't really get any stability on the server if the owner wants to evict them or sell the house. There should be a contract system that ties the tenant to the house as well, while paying rent. Contracts should be voidable OOCly if the tenant is inactive and ICly if ordered by a judge. There should also be a limit on how many tenants there are per house. Commands to add: /rentcontract [person] [price per paycheck] [duration in days] [ooc inactivity timer in days] /signcontract confirm /evicttenant (police use only) /renewcontract Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server? It would offer more stability to renters and make the act of renting a house less trivial. Additional information:

There is a way to control the car's behavior through the script, give it a normal mode which will be throttled, sport mode which will be sporty, and track mode for certain cars. Make fuel economy based on the mode you're in and the type of vehicle. Maybe even give it a very slow eco mode.

Player outfits should be treated as items and players should have the ability to carry outfits in backpacks etc and roleplay wearing them anywhere.
