Yes. If you manage to get your character locked up for ten years.. tough luck. Should've been more careful, tried a different approach, etc. It's completely unrealistic how murderers etc get out after a few weeks. If you want to kill someone ICly you should face the consequences, because it's realistic. And no it would not kill roleplay, but actually create it as people would try different approaches rather than just shooting someone over something stupid just because the consequences aren't that bad.

If this person has roleplayed with my character my character would know them as... For example a 18 years old person. Suddenly they're 21 after a week. Which I am forced to accept even if it makes no sense at all. Or someone spent 10 years in prison. My character knew them before prison and still knows them after prison. While their character has suddenly aged by 10 years, mine hasn't. What if they got to know each other by going to the same school? It just ruins roleplay and creates unrealistic situations that others are forced to accept. Edit: I'll once again mention the heavy RP aspect. If time travelling is allowed, we could also just allow supernatural characters if all characters around that person agree.

Thanks for that very unconstructive feedback. It does mess with my roleplay though for the reasons I have mentioned. This server has a focus on heavy RP. If you manage to get your character locked up for years... Tough luck

It can of course be regulated, like hospital time, yeah. Maybe set a limit of 1 month per event or something.

To be honest if you murder someone you should be aware of the fact that your character could end up in prison forever. This would also get some people to look for other solutions rather than shooting someone over nothing as it is all too common on this server.

Basically what the title says. People who so timeskips basically force their RP onto others without giving them a chance other than just accepting that the timeskipper is, for example, older. Example 1: Character A (Age 18) says they're going to study in a different state, which would take roughly 3 years. Character A leaves and comes back after a few iRL weeks, claiming that 3 years have passed. Everyone they have ever interacted with are forced into either accepting that it's 2023 for character A now, or to age their characters too. If they do neither... Then three years haven't passed. Another example from the server would be that a character has simply timeskipped 9 months of pregnancy in a few weeks. Everyone she has ever interacted with only saw that she's pregnant... And suddenly has a child a few weeks later. This is just stupid and should be forbidden. Edit: For the sake of roleplay it could be regulated by allowing a reasonable timeskip of a maximum length of 2 weeks to a month. (Injuries etc)

Well, earning 30-80k a shift makes no sense either. It's simply not realistic, and that's what this server wants to be about. So the prices of the components should be raised by a little, and the percentage the mechanics get drastically lowered.
