  1. read the post before replying. nothing to do with coding a bunch of npcs walking around. On that note- could an admin L&A this? My question was answered in the second reply and half of this thread is just people that aren't aware of what the initial post even was.
  2. 1. This isn't a suggestion. I was asking about the rule and whether or not it pertained to the screenshot provided. 2. If you think roleplaying is weird as fuck I'm not sure why you're on the server and/or your roleplay is probably garbage. It's more realistic to acknowledge that somebody would be working in the store, far less realistic to walk in like it's an honor system and just buy items from an interactive menu. 3. If any of your characters have a background story, you just used NPC's to enhance your roleplay lol.
  3. I don't think the "taking roleplay away from others" argument is valid though. In my case (the example in the main post), this actually created roleplay for others. The whole scene stemmed from my character trying to buy cigarettes by the same NPC that has worked at the 24/7 store for awhile, being denied, and then going back to my friends (yes, friends as in real players I roleplay with) and telling them what happened. That turned into one of the older characters telling me to go back to the store and use his name and the NPC would then agree to sell the cigarettes knowing I was with said older character. In my case, not allowing me to roleplay the NPC would not be reason enough to break my immersion and travel across the city just to buy cigarettes and roleplay with a player owned store. My character is a 14 year old from the ghetto and troubled youths getting involved in gangs rarely leave their neighborhood much less travel across the city for any reason whatsoever, let alone just to get cigarettes. This all comes back to adding depth to roleplay. Not forcing someone to break immersion just to roleplay with a real person halfway across the city.
  4. if you're gonna respond to a post try reading it first ...
  5. Thanks old friend that doesn’t respond in discord
  6. you're so far off from what my original question was that i dont even know what to say lol...
  7. lmao my dude just get in the game and see how it plays. there are options you can tweak. default is WASD to steer you free look with mouse.
  8. exactly the answer I was hoping for. I was told even rping an NPC in the screen i posted above is against the rules. Thanks bro!!
  9. Nice tag. Nice thread. Enjoying these PBS screens
  10. He literally just said he’s not new to the server. Let the man make a faction. It’s hard as fuck to convince a prexisting faction to tweak their role play and Shotta believes making his own is the best way to improve role play on the server. He’s not looking for advice on the server he’s looking for others that don’t feel the current factions are up to par and are willing to join him in a new project. Good luck Shotta!
  11. nice thread no idea how tf u managed to make ur char actually look 16 but props on that!
  12. Roy Boy and a pug, name a better duo. Thread looks phenomenal as always gentlemen keep feeding us this RP erotica ??
  13. I’m with you bro. I’m sure I just never looked into it enough but I always wondered why we don’t just use realistic values for everything. Would be make much more sense (I think?) than buying a backpack for 2000$, a gram of weed for $200+, and getting a house for 30000$
  14. So I'm fairly new to GTA W and I recently learned that it's against the rules to roleplay for an NPC. I'd understand this in the context of preventing a player from benefiting themselves by abusing an NPC but to simply add depth to roleplay it's still not allowed on this server? Seems a bit odd to me and I was just hoping someone could clear up why that is a rule and/or if there is a boundary between using NPC roleplay to add depth and using an NPC to benefit your character. My example is below- I was told this was against the server's rules and that seems lame as hell to me in all honesty ? I've done a lot of street gang / hood roleplay and roleplaying that a specific NPC(s) works at a store has always been a fun little thing to do to add depth.
  15. thats a good thing right? 2012 was like my favorite year of gta rp so i hope so ?
  16. Hey man! I’m also pretty new but had been on LSRP/MTA from 09-16ish as far as the anims go (cuz anims are big for me), I started making a list of ones I’d commonly use. You can then refer to your list and type /anim [animation name] to trigger it. Easier than navigating through the menus ?
  17. Wilmer Huerta was born August 16, 2004 to his parents Victoria Huerta and Eduardo 'Tez' Montez. Eduardo Montez was imprisoned in the late 90's following the end of the war with The Mexican Mafia. A week before being tried and sentenced for a fluke armed robbery, Eduardo, only 19 years old, impregnated Victoria, 17, for the first time. 9 months later, in the Spring of 1999, Victoria gave birth to Eduardo Montez Jr while Montez Sr served his sentence. Six years later, in December of 2004, after being released for only a month, Eduardo Montez was sentenced to life for the murder of Miguel Colonia on the suspicion that he had been sleeping with Victoria during Eduardo's incarceration. However, during her boyfriend's time back, Victoria was knocked up again- though it is not certain who the father was. 9 months later, Wilmer Huerta, who was given his mother's last name due to the mystery behind the real father, was born. Despite the possibility of not having the same father, Eduardo Jr and Wilmer were close. Their relationship being most attributed to the slow but steady decline in their mother's presence in their lives. Victoria's mother lived with the three in El Burro Heights and continued working to provide for the brothers as their mother was consumed by a heroin addiction. Without a father figure or much of a mother figure, Eduardo Jr began spending time around the neighborhood with his friends. It was at a young age that Eduardo began smoking weed and drinking with the homeboys around Hillside and by the time he was 15, he was selling drugs as a corner man. Two years later though, only weeks after turning 18, Eduardo was arrested and jailed during a relatively large drug deal that his homeboy pulled him into. This left younger brother Wilmer, now 12 years old, alone with his grandmother and degenerate mother. For the next three years, Wilmer would hangout with his friends, rarely attend school, and begin smoking weed and drinking around the neighborhood. Now, in 2019, Wilmer is two months from his 15th birthday and his lack of a father figure and his troubled home is pushing him more and more towards a life of crime in El Burro. Though he has not officially begun to participate in any serious crime, he is en route to being another statistic.
