Thanks, didn't know RAGE can run it from any path. I'll copy the game files and see how it goes.

How though? Do I just copy paste the GTA folder somewhere else, because I tried this and the game says to launch it through the launcher. I just had an idea now to install the game through Epic Games, make a total another account there, and get it specifically for RAGEMP, but I'm unsure if the Epic Store version supports mods.

Hello there! I'd like to know if it's possible to have a clean GTA V installation, for when I play GTAV online, and a modded GTAV installation, for when I play RAGEMP, so I can use all sorts of mods that don't replace the dlc.rpf in the RAGEMP folder. Or an alternative so I can use the mods in the same GTA V folder that I'm playing Online too.

I set it on that. Next time I'm IG I'll test and see, but from what I'm seeing isn't from my GPU as I can set the graphics on high-very high and the game doesn't have any problem anymore. Maybe it was the RAM, but I'm still looking to assure that it won't have any problems in the future.

I believe you mean this. It was on optimal ower, default by nvidia, and I think you meant to set it on "prefer maximum performance". What I chose there is just for reference, didn't set it on GTA 4.

I know they’re cheap but I can’t fit one in my laptop. Only got a nvme slot and a sata one, and they’re both used.

Keep only discord. Also msi afterburner might impact the fps. It did in my case.

I don't know how to put GTAV on high priority, and I can't fit the game on the SSD since I have windows and all the other things on that SSD. If the game would've been 70 I maybe could've managed, and I don't have space for another SSD.

Update to this! I stopped running Spotify, some vpn and other applications in the background and it works a little bit bitter. It doesn't lag so much, I can play now. Thanks everyone for your support on this. If anyone has more fixes I'm glad to accept them :)

I have the same problem, but I got a lower spec laptop. I tried closing everything I could on the background, except discord, and now it's working pretty good. Might have some lag sometimes, but it's usable now and doesn't do drop frames every now and then. Try that, it's what I did and it worked 90%.

-I looked it up in GeForce Experience and my drivers are the latest, those being 445.75, released 23rd of march. -I believe my windows is up to date, doesn't tell me to update or anything at all. -I keep Discord and Spotify on. I can get rid of Spotify though, don't really use it anymore. And sometimes I forget Chrome on, but rarely.

Update on that: There's no way I can fit it on my SSD. I thought the game had 70gb but apparently it has 90, so can't fit it.

I will try doing that, even though it may take up a lot of space. Only got 128 gb.

Hey there! I'm running a i5-7300HQ, 8GB ram and GTX 1050ti. I run it on normal, and I get around 60 fps (I use vsync). But I don't know from where, it starts a God awful stutter that starts and stops constantly when I’m driving, but it’s very persistent and when I'm standing normally, without driving, it stops. It's making me insane. *mentioning I don't wanna upgrade anything*

I didn't really read all the replies but I have my own opinion on this, and I think snow should be implemented for atleast a month because it's a very fun type of RP, anyone can approve that, and you don't have to follow 1:1 California weather, after all it's just a game, and I think snow will just make it better, and I don't think it's only me.

I'll try to do what you told me in this, but there's another factor. I have an older PC (i5-2500K, GT 1030, 12 gb ram, SSD aswell) and the game runs on lower FPS but doesn't stutter (laptop 60 with vsync, PC 40-50).

Tried that, didn't work.
