Cara Posted April 24, 2019 Share Posted April 24, 2019 Short description: Add a limit to /CAD and /BAD adverts per a period of time. Detailed description: So often the chat window is absolutely spammed (usually by the same people) to advertise a certain place. Not only is this annoying but it is unrealistic, obviously adverts are a common occurrence but it is rare to be spammed by the time place / company once per every two mins or so. It’s also extremely irritating when it is difficult to place a personal ad because companies are literally advertising with each opportunity. A limit on the amount of time /CAD and /BAD someone can do per a period of time might make people smarter about when they advertise and what they do to advertise, rather than just relying on in game spam to get the point across. Commands to add: None Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server? Less spam, more inventive advertising for businesses utilising forum threads, jobs giving out fliers in game, etc. Additional information: N/A 1 Link to comment

mala Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 I think you can toggle the ads off already, and there's that other suggestion for the ad queue.. However, considering that one of the donation package features lowers the ad cooldown to 1 minute & it really helps get people actually going to businesses.. Toggling it off if it bugs you is much better than a strict limit on everyone. Link to comment
