Hailing from Mumbai, India (Although others are accepted if they claim Indian heritage) - many of the members of this club follow numerous religions and have many beliefs, all of which are welcomed within the Sons of Bombay. Originally, the Sons of Bombay's founding members were part of a subordinate club within the much larger and far more organised Sikh Motorcycle Club, however upon hearing of the member's dubious deeds within the Sikh Motorcycle Club - they were expelled from their ranks and forced to continue on their own without the financial support of their former compatriots. The majority have abandoned their faith in Sikhism following those events.

During the schism many chose to go down a life of crime, without any particular sense of comradeship anymore, no direction. That is what the Sons of Bombay gave. They gave a meaning to it all, a sense of direction and comradeship which they sorely lacked after being exiled from the Sikh Motorcycle Club. Throughout the years, the Sons of Bombay have evolved and moved past their faith in Sikhism and harmony. Their expulsion had led many of their members to migrate southwards, from Canada - into the state of San Andreas where they now reside living amongst numerous other motorcycle clubs - many of which have decided to take it upon themselves to mock and maim the SoB's, though they find themselves undermining the capabilities of what they can do.

The Sons of Bombay claim 1% and stands up against the mockery against their faith and culture that revolves around Los Santos.

Despite them lacking any morals and living a ruthless lifestyle - many still choose to practice their culture and it still remains a core part of the Sons of Bombay which often leads to discrimination by the other gangs within Los Santos. Many choose to stay away from what goes on behind the curtains. These men hold great passion for riding motorcycles alongside their brothers. They are employed, hard working men, striving to lay a foundation for their club, shelter future generations and support their families.

Now fully settled in Little India, as they refer to, located in the Strawberry area, they hope to continue their rise to power in the aim to become one of the biggest and most able groups in the tri-state area.

OOC NOTE AND RECRUITMENT

Whilst, yes, we are a predominantly Indian organisation - to preserve realism we'll mostly be portraying an accumulation of numerous different ethnic groups and religions found in India. Meaning if you wish to join, you may approach us on any character so long as they can claim to have Indian roots. We feel that by taking this creative liberty, it could possibly open up more opportunities for inner faction roleplay, wherein trifles could occur between members, perhaps between their religion or certain ethnic group. Not only would this allow for more layers within our faction, it would also allow us a much better roleplay experience as a whole given that we're not subjecting ourselves to a single religion.

You could argue that having Indians committing crimes on this scale is unrealistic, but given the context of our faction, I believe that whilst realism is paramount, this action has been taken to help make our group more appealing to others. This ensures our faction remains realistic and it's still fun to be around us and roleplay with us.

Feel free to private message @Gall if you would like to enquire on any faction-related matters.

We reserve the right to hold your Character Kill permissions upon officially joining this faction.
