  1. Time for auditing San Andreas. However, you surely can "/me takes out his phone, immediately switching to the camera feature as he/she hits the rec button". There's never been an issue and for the sake of RP, it should remain as such. "CCTV are permitted within a person's residence, if a player has mounted cameras outside their residence, in their vehicles or any place filming the public, they must get the consent of all parties involved"
  2. I'd not say it was useless, rather than already existing. No one is blaming you for an idea!
  3. You even have the feature to remove all current tenants. There is absolutely no need for a new "second house key"-script, since it's basically what this one is doing.
  4. NAW NAW NAW - we speak the TRUTH! I can't forgive, I can't forget, but you shall have a break.
  5. SAMP got released 10th of May, 2006. wdym?!
  6. You need to post up a bug report for that, so devs are aware!
  7. I've witnessed, with this new system, quite a load of applications myself. I've been going over them, choosing based on hard facts, either this application meets my personal line or not. Of course, every Admin will be having their list to check off of what they deem is necessary to include and what not. Yet, this is what roleplay makes RP! One says you are fine, then the other tester wanted to hear some more of that. You simply can't please everyone. That's why those scenario questions got introduced in the first place. When you were "just" having to write out a character background, you make some grammar mistakes, some key information about your character was missing or any other related error, eventually bringing this to multiple denials because of that. However, now that this is adapted with scenario question, a player is actually faced with a situation, which he could easily run into when playing actively on GTA World. Seeing the players number capping a new all time high almost every week, this is something you can not let go unnotice, so also in regards of the application process and it's so called quality aspect. As a Roleplayer, you are supposed to make something out of every situation that's given to you. Either having a mental break-down because you are on your limits, or be the tough guy who has a master plan for everything. There might be the arguement, this is not the way I roleplay. In fact, roleplay has no standard body. It's a mix of rather every single aspect of a game, using it's features, graphics, animations etc. to express their current situation/mood/abilities. I was playing on LSRP for foughly 7-8 years. I consider myself as a rather decent RPer, yet certainly not over the top. I have experience in only law enforcement and some basic civilian roleplay as well as a broke fella not fitting in any society. At no point would I say I am "not able to roleplay this" because simply, it's not a matter of what question you get served or scenario, it's a matter of how good you are in roleplaying a situation which you are not familiar with to the best outcome for yourself (your character). Creating this unique world is making roleplay what it is. Once you are on the server, you are more than welcome to follow your style. To conclude, it's not a big deal to paint a picture of a scenario in your head, add some more colors and depth to the scene. Include animations you do and furthermore, chances of success. What for you is realistic? What is needed to get started with the topic in the first place? Do you needany other objects to make, in this case, the arms deal going? Any needed reputation? It's all about how YOU (as you said it already) create the moment. If you weren't faced with a situation like you are being faced at the application, then the scenario questions served their immanent purpose. Use your imagination and try to your best and an admin will acknowledge that. To round it up. If you show within your application that you are willing to go beyond the standard phrases, you will most likely receive a positive answer. It may sound hard, but then that's exactly what it should be. You are being forced to show what your limitations are and how you'd set your own line of reality. If you put in only the bare minimum, I doubt it will satisfy every admin's need within the scenario given. On that note, welcome to GTA:W. Good luck to your friend and I hope we'll get in some good encounters over the long-run!
  8. Brought it on point. Let illegal RP expand in some appropriate manner. I am new to all this, but this overall just makes sense and gives somewhat of a benefit to criminals.
  9. Rozi brings it on the point. Whatever the name is, system takes priority than cosmetics.
  10. I do get your frustration, however, DoC is being revamped and worked on with efforts behind. The old DoC was functioning just fine, once the server moved away from the old client system to RageMP, DoC wasn't compatible anymore. Therefore, the whole prison needs a workover, yet it is easier to make it from scratch, seeing the old files are corrupt with the new one that's currently running on. DoC will be a thing, however, till that time has come, the current jail system will have to do the job. Urging this by creating threads is rather contra-productive and will lead always to the same answer. I think roughly 80% came from LSRP, or at least have been on there in the past - The actual idea behind SACF, DoC and so forth, it's genius. To the last say, even a genius needs time to lay out a proper plan on how to achieve the immersion and RP-aspects. Patience is a virtue.
  11. uhhhh yasssssssss - right about when I return. Me gusta.
  12. Absolutely. @Maple I know you are bored!
  13. Suggestion Short description: Non-Emergency Hotline Detailed description: The script, or rather the number, would redirect the caller to a dispatching team, requiring necessary information as in "Who do you need to talk to?", or "This is the Police Department's non-emergency hotline, how can we help you?". The caller then states the situation, followed by the answer "You request will be handled. You will receive a call from one of our employees." - You can put into it whatever comes to your head. The non-emergency lines for the police is then tinted in some other color or in a light blue, or it declares itself as a "NON-EMERGENCY CALL". Commands to add: / Items to add: /call 991 - or anything similar. How would your suggestion improve the server? A quick and efficient suggestion which comes in with more pleasure to police officers, but also for the cause of roleplay. Since there is no available line where you can call the LSPD for non-emergency related situations. Wheater it's getting documents for their PF license, or when someone is in need of police assistance which can be handled via the phone. There are several reasons for why it could be used. Additional information: That's it!
