Chargers 17 - Rams 14

 

Preseason Game 1 was a tight affair in the first half with both teams trading touchdowns with the opening three drives, leading to a 14-7 Halftime lead by the visiting Rams.

 

Spiller was on the end of two touchdown passes by QB Josh Collins, who alongside WR Monroe and Phelps, HB Carr, LB Rogers, and CB Glenwood played all four quarters.

 

The deadlock was broken in the final minute of the last quarter by a 38 yard field goal by the Chargers Kicker.

 

Chargers face Dallas Cowboys in the next Preseason Game.

Panic 117 - Kings 70

 

In this warm up game versus week one opponents Kings, The Panic found themselves facing a weakened Kings squad due to an unknown illness the morning of the game.

 

Panic quickly established a strong lead in the first half,  thanks to the scoring of Jet Gatsby, and especially the long range hoops from Knowles. At the other end of the court Giles and Young were menaces around the defensive hoop, picking up 16 rebounds between them.

 

Gatsby took highest points of the game at 20pts. He also had the State Farm Assist of the Game, supplying McDaniels with a tempting lob pass, allowing McDaniels to catch it mid-air and double dunk, much to the home fans dislike!

 

The home fans will have the pleasure of seeing Gatsby, Knight, and co, when Panic start their season on May 21st with a visit back to Sacramento.
