The West Side Ghost Town Tokers, known colloquially as Ghost Town Tokers or Ghost Town Tokero Gang, were formed by Vespucci youth in Oceanside Middle School. Founded by classmates Martin “Maniac” Navas and Damian “Demon” Torres, the V13 subset grew in numbers as it recruited Vespucci locals into its ranks, they primarily engaged in petty theft, assault and vandalism before graduating into more violent and profitable crimes in its later years. In the 1960s, the spiritual predecessor to the Ghost Town Tokers gang was known as Lil Tokers (LTS). Notorious for the street violence and profitability they yielded for the Mexican Mafia’s prison enterprises back in the day, especially during the 1990s, they maintained their position within Vespucci 13 as one of the primary and more dominant sets of the gang. Most of the gang’s older members and upper level management were part of the Lil Tokers set.

 

At present, the Ghost Town Tokers are the dominant subset of the V13 street gang, given they are one of the only current sets in existence as of recent. Along with being the gang’s largest set, they’ve honed a reputation for murder, robbery, burglary, assault, kidnapping and extortion. The drug trade has been their primary mode of income, embedding themselves deep into that lifestyle. Keeping things low key, they are attempting to develop themselves back into the organization they once were.

 

 

Out of Character

 

We aim to portray a predominantly Mexican American, Sureño affiliated street gang based off of Venice 13 as realistically as possible and up to par with the current events of the server’s street gang environment, specifically in the Vespucci area. It’s an indirect shoot-off of the past Vespucci 13 gangs that have historically existed on Magellan Avenue while at the same time creating our own independent lore in a way that supports continuity, we aim to build our own development and characters surrounding our own ideals for the factions via our own original sub-set of the gang.

 

Starting as a young character is recommended to maximize the quality of your development within the faction. We encourage our members to avoid any and all stereotypes that are perceived of the Sureño or the street gang scene as a whole, if you need any help with portrayal don’t hesitate to ask questions. Upon associating with the faction, including obtaining a role within the faction's discord as an associate or above, the faction leadership reserves the right to Character Kill your character for whatever reason under their discretion. This clause still stands for those who have also left the faction's discord/the faction itself via the same character.
