Armenian Power XIII
APXIII - (Armenian Power 13) is a street gang that was founded at some point in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Though the exact date remains unknown, authorities often cite 1989 as the year the gang was founded. Originally located in Vinewood, they have since expanded and can be found in other parts of Southern San Andreas. Their presence in San Andreas is mainly isolated to East Vinewood and Morningwood, though they have been known to travel outside their own 'hood' at times in attempts to expand their criminal influence over the city and wider state. The gang was formed originally to combat surrounding Mexican and Salvadorian gangs bordering and intersecting with the Armenian ghettos. As the gang was established they became known to stick up for Armenian youth across Vinewood. The gang took pride in coming to the aid of anyone of Armenian dissent, though quickly and naturally the gang became indistinguishable from the gangs that they once formed to protect themselves against. Like most other street gangs formed in that era, and area, their crimes became brazen. Nothing was off the table, and as their power and influence expanded, so did their criminal operations which ranged anywhere from large scale fraud and identity theft, to bold and dangerous daylight robberies and shootings. The gang would have deadly disputes with surrounding Hispanic gangs in the late 1990's into the early 2000's, with many homicides being linked to the conflict. Law enforcement's estimate of membership numbers is considered to be low but they do not underestimate the secrecy of the gang, as many members above the street level avoid being validated. The main thing which separates the Armenian power gang from other street gangs around is the leadership connections to Russian, Armenian and other Eurasian criminal circles. These ties enable the gang to perform more sophisticated crimes. Many law enforcement agencies have described the gang as a "marriage of mafia and street gang culture."

Spanish Avenue, Vinewood
The Spanish Avenue clique had garnered a lot of attention in the early 2000's for their brazen behaviors and money making schemes. Although quickly prone to violence the crew gained notoriety for one of their key income streams which was a sophisticated card skimming operation. These low risk crimes gained the crew quick cash and they flaunted it around the corners of Hawick and Alta, driving brand new cars and sporting flashing jewelry. Although maybe ahead of their time, the law caught up with the crew and most were locked up with other non-affiliates on fraud charges in late 2011.  Few members have conducted business in the shadows since the crack down on the crew and gang in the Vinewood area, most maintaining a low profile and some even moving on to be law-abiding citizens.

OOC INFO: We are portraying a fictional Armenian Power 13 clique, with the main focus being on character and faction development. Both official and aspiring members will be held to the highest of community standards. If you are interested or have any questions you can PM @Kaxo or @Hopout.
