 Insane Crip Gang1

The Insane Crip Gang (ICG)1 is a primarily, but not exclusively, African-American street gang located in East Del Perro, Los Santos. There are different theories on how the name of this gang came about since, at the time of its conception, many of the gangs were named after the streets within their respective neighborhoods. However, this isn't the same ideology that the Insane Crip Gang followed after. The Insane Crips consist of three different cliques, Big Insane Crips, which mainly consist of the original members. There's also the Young Foundation Crew (YFC) which is the second clique which comes after the original clique composted of members from the 2nd generation. Followed by the third clique known as the Baby Insanes or the Baby Insane Crips (BIC or BIG), established in the early 1990s, on the Eastside of Del Perro Beach.

They're affiliated with the (3x) card and have an alliance with the Black Bandit Crips, Innocence Family Gangster Bloods, most Hoover Criminal Gangs and the Filthy Crip Gang which later on evolved into the Filthy Insanes alliance. The Insane Crips once shared a close alliance with the Rollin 20s Crips and co-existed well as a unit in the same area, bonded by mostly family ties. However, during the 1980's, this close alliance was shattered by pride and egos resulting in a trial of casualties on both sides. They also feud with the West Coast Crips, Brick Boy Crips, Naughty Nasty Gangster Crips, Mac Mafia Crips, all Rollin O's Crips and Varrio Longo; the largest Latino gang in Del Perro Beach.

In modern times, the Insane Gang consists of a small amount of members, ranging from their early teens to their mid-twenties. The gang's recent activities around their neighborhood the past few years has established them as a gang with a dominant but small presence in it's area. They are known to sport apparel by the Oakland Raiders (formerly known as the Los Angeles Raiders), with black and gray as their primary colors. Members of the Baby Insane clique adopted apparel by the Cleveland Indians as their symbol and are known to sport grey, red & blue as their primary color(s).

As of 2020, the street gang has seen steady growth of new members and even some sympathy and open support from residents of Del Perro Beach. Most new members of the street gang who have became known to the police through surveillance and arrests are between the ages of 16 and 20. The street gang, unlike many others within the neighborhood, seems to have a higher interest in recruiting young men and young women who are in their late teens and early 20s rather than youths who are still in childhood or early adolescence. It stands to reason that the street gang, through recruiting this relatively older age cohort, are looking for more experienced and hardened criminals to join their rank.

Eric "Infant Trauma" Battiest, 34, an Insane Crip gang member was shot and killed on Sunday, October 25, 2009 in the neighborhood of Morningwood at 110 West Eclipse Blvd. Battiest was taking out the trash in what is now known as The Hallowed Grounds behind his apartment between 6:30pm and 7:00pm, when he was approached by fellow Insane Crip Gang members Travion Toler and Don Acklin, a witness heard shouting between the men and then gunshots. It's rumored that the reasoning behind the shooting was due to a drug exchange gone wrong between the trio. Acklin was also killed on the scene when police arrived since their arrival was relatively quick and a shootout ensued between the duo and the officers. Toler suffered wounds to his neck and chest which rendered him paralyzed. He passed away on January 29, 2009, as a result of the neck wound.

Chris "Lil Sagg" Gaither, 18, an Insane Crip gang member was shot & killed on April 20, 2013 in the neighborhood of Morningwood. Gaither accused another Insane Crip gang member, Robert Lane, of taking his PlayStation. Lane believed that Gaither had agreed to let him borrow it. Gaither went to an alley used by the Insane Crips to pick up the PlayStation from Lane. When he arrived Lane was waiting for him outside, he gave the PlayStation to Gaither, who exited the car and began to fight Lane. Gaither knocked Lane to the ground, when Lane pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and shot Gaither 14 times at 9:10pm. Gaither was pronounced dead at the scene.

Damien "Tiny Time Bomb" Dollar, 19, an Insane Crip gang member was shot & killed on January 11, 2020 in the neighborhood of Morningwood during a small party hosted by different Insane Crip gang members. During the party at one point where various members from ICG were flaunting their weapons for a video to be posted on social media, Dollar followed the group and was flaunting his weapon as well. Some time afterwards Dollar kept playing with his weapon in an attempt to gain cool points from several different attendees at the party when his gun went off and killed him in the process due to his poor trigger discipline.

Although we've taken a fictional approach, we will be executing a down to the bone mirror image of the Long Beach Insane Crip Gang. We will adopt a special incarnation of the Baby Insanes set specifically with some older members from the Young Filthy Crew set that you can discover through our series of screenshots or directly via in-game encounters. The main goal of the faction is to create a realistic atmosphere of a well-informed African-American community that is often involved in Long Beach gang culture. Members of this faction aim to provide a community-esque atmosphere with realism in the scenarios they portray. If you're not serious about role-playing with us and don't have any quality role-play to contribute to the faction then don't even bother trying to join because you will be denied on behalf of our leadership.

This faction is not allowing walk-ons. Recruitment is done strictly in the hands of the leadership whenever they please. This means, do not make a character and try to come join us without prior acceptance from a leader. You'll just have wasted a namechange.

We encourage people to focus on character development. We are going to help players that accept constructive criticism and are willing to learn from their mistakes. We also ask future faction members to look up and research about ICG to learn more about the faction, its members and how to approach us. Any questions, suggestions, concerns and constructive criticism should be directed to @Batter Up or @Flame.
