Yes, this whole thread is about GOV being quiet, and yes, no one has wanted to hear a member's side. Those two co-exist because of the aforementioned ignorance: people would rather vent how they feel the Government is negligent in their duties from their public soapbox rather than actually ascertaining if that were the case by commencing private communications. As for you choosing to not PM the faction leader, that's on you, and that's not something that "investing" in PR will remedy.

I am not venting at all. I'm sure the government is doing a fine job behind the curtains. But I'm fluent. I can see why the average player thinks this way, hence my suggestion. Perhaps you are a little too over-protective.. Check my previous posts. I've never suggested that the government sucks. What I have suggested is them improving their PR side. ?

Yikes, why so bitter? It's clear that the PR side of government is lacking if these threads pop up every half a year.. and no, I'm not dissing on the whole faction, before you attack me again.. 

 

Hire a fella or two to make your actions known to the regular eye and everything will be well. Wish you the best of luck!

"Before you attack me again" I haven't strayed from the topic. You on the other hand have called me ignorant, bitter, and overprotective (as if it was meant to be a pejorative). You've made yourself known as a "fluent" player who can understand why the "average Joe" perceives us as inactive. I'm extending an invitation for you to come join the Government, so you can help us conduct public relations. Clearly, you're more than capable of completing the tasks.

 

But, no. You retort by calling me "bitter", regurgitate how the "PR side" is lacking, and then gaslight me by accusing me of attacking you. Then you take yourself out of the equation and leave the "fella" who's going to make our actions known to the regular eye shrouded in anonymity. Just who is this magical fella? How does one find this fella? Shouldn't I be considered the "fella" seeing as I'm literally here, posting, explaining, and elaborating?

Who made this thread? Not me. Being sarcastic with your "OK, apply then" isn't going to help either. There were no PR positions in your original post so you're just trolling. Neither are you going to get me with your reddit terms.. Is it only that I can criticize stuff that I'm a clear professional at? 

 

And yes, I stand by what I said. I've been here far longer than you have and I have seen these kind of topics come up more than once. It's clear that something is lacking, and in my opinion it is the PR side of things.

It wasn't sarcastic. I'm conceding that maybe there is something amiss with the public relations aspect, so I'm inviting you on board to help us manage that. I did post a list of vacant positions, so no, I'm not "trolling", and I won't take the bait of diminishing my posts because you feel that they use terms from Reddit. I won't even dignify the gaslighting that follows, for you're intimating that I'm trying to act in detriment of the faction by not being transparent with the players. I repeat: I welcome all OOC and IC inquiries and will help you get your answers. Go back and read everything I've posted and I promise you, you'll find that you've misinterpreted just about everything that I've posted.

Will not comment as you clearly out of the blue came to the realization of something out of all the terms I could have possibly aimed at. To address your latter claim, isn't this what this thread is? Never have I suggested what you claimed in your post. I've just been saying that while a lot of work goes on behind the curtains, the average Joe never gets to see it. And thus why I recommend hiring someone or two to make your presence known. ? It's a win-win for all.. We're a community, act like one!

Are you head of the government PR? Then this thread is exactly aimed at you.  ?  Horrible idea why? Because? Let's keep it a secret and fuel the people who earlier before claimed it's a dictatorship and what else..? ? 

 

You replied (very aggressively) to me for suggesting the government to make a better presence on their stuff that's being done.

 

For the third (perhaps fourth?) I'm suggestion someone of PR experience to mirror the stuff that's going on in the government. Not looking to get accused of reddit terms and what not, thread clearly resembles that there's a problem from one end or the other. Even though it not might be valid, we still have to address it (and with something better than "Lol apply then, ok?")
