I've talked to a few people, and I see alot back in the day and sometimes these days about the Auto/Auto racing scene. Should the horsetrack ingame be edited as a stock car/proper concrete paved racetrack for trials/sports events, and should hotrings be added/ mixed sports classes for cars like the Flash GT, Vapid Ellie, Obey Omnis, and more be held. It would also make a fantastic attition* for cars shows, as well as sports bike events like MotoGP. The track just sits there, and not alot of folks have the proper permit for the Sandy Strip, and LSIA is (im assuming) out of the question.

Yes or no? Should this be a decent GTAW update for the community? Should new & Hotrings (Stock Cars) be added?

Note: They aren't called "NASCARS" It's a stock car people... Get it right.

The Flash GT isn't a stock car racer, neither is the Vapid Ellie, nor the Omnis. The Omnis is a Group B car and there's no way should it be added. They're stupid expensive IRL and you can't even get yourself an original one since they're sitting in a museum and the rest are all kit cars and replicas, which are also stupid expensive to build.

 

I don't really see a reason for this. People that do events can get them the IC way, and so far I haven't seen any issues regarding that. It's also a horse track, racing cars next to a casino wouldn't exactly make any sense nor would it be immersive for anyone.

Im talking about livery and performance wise. As I said, "mixed" class

And as there are no horses in GTA, it would be a better idea.

All I'm seeing is a whole lot of work for a whole lot of bad results. I don't think this would work out. People that want to make race events can do so IC-ly by getting in touch with the government and setting things up with the LSPD/LSFD. I don't really think this is needed.

agree with this.

couple months back one of the mechanic companies or whatever set up a whole track on the street with the assistance of LSFD and LSPD. closed off roads and all that. was pretty neat

the flash gt, if it was removed, was also in the game at a certain point. if it was removed, it was removed for a reason, if not, it's already in

i dont think we need more go go bigly cars and changing a horse track into an oval race track doesnt seem like it'd bolster the rp very much
just set something up with the LSPD and LSFD and make an event out of it if you really wanna legally race

Yeah, you might be talking about something else. I only used this as an example since its sports class, also with avalible liverys

It should be used for NASCAR and nothing else.

The Flash GT's already in game but it's a factory race car much like its real life replica. I don't see a reason for this. There are already existing motorsports teams such as Rush or Autohaven in game and events also happen on an IC basis. All you need to organize a race is the city and the law enforcement's approval. It's a tedious process but it's worth its money if done right.

 

It's up to players to create something. I don't see why we'd need the administration's intervention in something that's legitimately IC and has been for a while.
