Rage MP: Connection Lost Reconnecting.... And other problems.

I just started playing this morning and it was going fine until I crashed. 

 

Then, I was unable to reconnect to the server. It said I was connected and it was compiling resources, then I lost connection. I relogged about ten times and then I just decided to restart my PC.

 

Now, whenever I join the server my steam and my rockstar club load up then the screen instantly goes black

It happens to me too, but there is a way to avoid this problem,

 

1. Press home button immediately when the file is downloaded.

2. Wait at least 1 minutes or more.

3. Press home button again, and the login screen will show.

For the users looking at this thread in the future;

 

I had researched on this problem a while ago and apparently, GTA World uses a complex set of algorithms to filter out bad IPs. Players from Oceania or from Indian Subcontinent are prone to this problem most of the times. Although the quoted solution works for non-Steam users, Steam does not allow that particular solution to be used ALL of the times. I use Steam and the Home button solution does not work for me 90% of the time. For any users in the future looking for a solution and the Home button one does not work, use the following:

• Let your client be connected to the server.
• When the message "Download Complete. Compiling client-side scripts" (?) pops up, wait for 1-2 seconds and then press SHIFT+TAB (or whatever keybind you have set for Steam interface) and wait for a complete minute or more.
• Close the interface and you will be greeted by the login screen.

Unless the problem is of different nature, this solution should work. Alternatively, you can try using a VPN, get an IP of UK or USA and connect to the server after getting permission from the staff team. As another alternative, you can delete one or two files from the RAGE-MP's GTAW's folder and let them be redownloaded. This seems to work about 80% of the times, however, I do not really recommend this or the VPN since VPN might assign you one of the IPs which are blocked by the server and even the Steam Interface/Rockstar Club Interface solution would not work if that's the case.

I've found that the Home button trick works for me, and I only have to wait around 10-15 seconds. I'm based in the US though, not sure why it's been doing this lately.
