Kerderius Ware is a resident within Davis that lives on Grove Street where the Bounty Hunter Bloods' are. Erica met Kerderius while she was having a conversation with Lorenzo 1 month into Alexis Washington's pregnancy. Kerderius had got into an altercation with some of the Bloods underneath Lorenzo Royal's leadership, and wanted to confirm with Lorenzo that everything was okay. After that first encounter, the duo's interactions were on a homeboy-homegirl type of level. Kerderius started the friendship by giving Erica rides in his mother's car from Grove Street to Dominguez Park on different occasions to make sure Erica made it across Lowenstein Boulevard with minimal issues from the local gangs.

In between one of Erica's segments of moving back & forth to Davis to hang with gang members. Erica met a young girl named Keyshia Barnes. Keyshia is reputable for being one of the youngest & poorest females in the area. Around the neighborhood, Keyshia is seen as young, ambitious and idealistic, therefore, many of the people there refuse to take her serious on a gangster level. Erica didn't think much or care about Keyshia until she seen her living conditions in the neighborhood's local bando. After witnessing such a pig sty, Erica started to check in regularly on the young girl, seeing if the Bloods in the section would look out for the youthful female.

Dissatisfied with how the E/S Bounty Hunter Bloods neglected Keyshia's obvious situation, Erica started associating with Keyshia, trying to be a tough big sister figure for her. Keyshia would often pester Erica about hitting realistically impossible licks on individuals in the hood, to which Erica would often just turn down. Erica would usually just come over to where Keyshia resides to try and inspire her to make money a different way. Erica fronted Keyshia an eighth of weed to trigger her focus on drug dealing, she let her keep the money for herself to buy food.

In the heart of Keyshia and Erica's interactions, Erica started seeing the E/S Bounty Hunter Bloods in a different, more negative light. She felt as if the gang does not care for the community or her dead homegirl, Aaliyah Mosley's death. Erica blamed the E/S Bounty Hunter Bloods for Aaliyah's death, believing they could've prevented it from happening but did nothing. Due to her already distancing herself from individuals in the gang like Marvin Gates, her constant association with gangs that are rivals of the E/S BHB, and the obvious neglect of care for Keyshia Barnes, Erica decided to lash out at the gang. 

One night, Erica finally entertained Keyshia's idea of hitting a lick. Erica knew just the place and ended up leading Keyshia to rob Lorenzo Royal's baby mama/Erica's best friend Alexis Washington's aunt's apartment in Chamberlain Hills. Erica stole Alexis' iPhone & gave it to Keyshia as a gift for Christmas. The snake move on Alexis was so sudden, Erica finally had enough of Alexis flexing on her about her life of "luxory" as a gang leader's girlfriend while Erica is living a shitty life. Witnesses of the robbery easily ID'd Erica, but whether the word got back to Alexis & Lorenzo, she doesn't know.
