Desperate for money to cover the medical expenses, he made the difficult decision to sell the taxi company. He struck a deal with his three supervisors, each receiving a one-third share of the business. Nedeljko returned to Croatia to care for his mother during her recovery, which took a couple of years. When he came back to Los Santos, he had less than half the money he earned from selling the company.
