gtaw.gg URL Shortener - gtaw.gg

For a couple of months now, the legacy "gtaw.link" hasn't worked properly; I noticed it not too long ago when links stopped working. I figured it was self-hosted, so I made a new website.

 

 

Shorten your links -> gtaw.gg

Features:

• Change a very long link to gtaw.gg/*yourlink*

  • For example, "https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/118768-url-shortener-gtawgg/" can turn to "https://gtaw.gg/explain" (try it!)

     

• Password protect or delete your link if needed - you must contact the site admin.

 

Known issues:

• You need to add HTTP:// or https:// to make your links work.

UPDATE:

• If you receive another unexpected link as the 'shorten' URL (for example, you want gtaw.gg/aa, but you receive gtaw.gg/ab) - it means someone else previously shortened that link, it is made to counter duplicates. Faction leaders and topic authors can ask to change a short link for their topic.
  • Currently disabled - people can use multiple links for the same URL.

• changed the "desired URL" format. It's quite friendly now, and people should understand not to add gtaw.gg for their links, so it won't turn into gtaw.gg/gtaw.ggmylink 

• added bot defense. Some bot-related words are not blocked from use, so if you need it... contact me...

Added anti-bot keywords; seeing they focus on specific sites, I've blocked those based on keywords. 

If you need a specific keyword and it's blocked - contact me, and I'll manually add this if it's really needed.
